Factcheck Publishes Hillary Hit Piece
Submitted by PriceRip on Fri, 05/27/2016 - 6:08pm
According to the chatter at TOP factcheck.org has created a not so factual hit piece with respect to the Email investigation.
I have consulted Factcheck and Snopes only a few times but I have never found either of these outlets to be unreliable to any discernible degree. While I never fully trust anything I read online (or anywhere else for that matter) Factcheck and Snopes seem to be reasonably reliable.
So, my question: Have I been deceived by the appearance of journalistic integrity? Should I join those at TOP in condemning FactCheck for attacking the anointed one?
Inquiring minds need to know.

This is impressive to read

I operated a rogue server
at UNK with the tacit approval of the network administrator. He trusted me, because, as a paranoid SOB, I made sure my server was more secure than most of the workstations on campus. And, he knew I would pull the plug rather than compromise the system as a whole.
Several administrators were unhappy that my machine was the authoritative "go to" portal for the campus and really wanted me off-line real bad. So, various administrators chose to badger and attempt to intimidate me (in various ways) into shutting down my server. Idiots. All they would have needed to do was promulgate a few rules, get them ratified by the faculty senate, and bada bing, bada boom no more rogue servers at UNK. That's how it works in a top-down organization, even though universities are not supposed to be top-down organizations.
Hillary knows (and knew) the drill. She knows she is lying. She has spent her entire professional life in top-down organizations. She is incompetent with respect to working within the rules to manipulate her superiors. So, she went outside the rules
Holy shit!
I posted a comment at Raw Story on the Robert Reich article begging Berniacs to surrender to the inevitable. I added the link to the factcheck story and my comment was hidden!
I reposted a simple link that isc still there so far:

wouldn't condemn the anointed one if murdered and ate a baby.
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.

I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
This is scathing.....must read...
If this is a preview of what Trump is going to do to crooked Hillary on her emails and server, she's dead in a week. This is scathing. The FBI is investigating her for political corruption.

Lyin' Hillary.
wonder how long it will be before she concocts another lie to cover her other lies. Here Hillary, I've got one for you. How about you were doing this top secret mission, make that DANGEROUS mission, where you were feeding our enemies false information from your basement email server. By doing so you single handedly thwarted a first strike by the evil Putin all the while taking sniper fire while hunkered down in your home office furiously typing out false emails with one hand while applying a tourniquet to Huma's badly wounded leg with the other.
I'd say this is good to go as written.

Their quote about State Dept. Inspector General’s special report
nice article
redacted "personal emails"
And they haven't even begun to consider the connections between donations to the Clinton Foundation, and Hillary's actions as SoS. Money laundering is a crime, and the ethics are so unreal as to boggle the mind.
Why spend time at that ghastly place?
Little Nap's site that is.

Fact checkers are often biased.
Most of them like to add facts that are only mildly relevant to the point in order to downgrade or upgrade whether something is factual. It is always best to keep in mind that fact checkers are owned by the media, so they are going to tell the story they want.
I just took a quick look for the moment at the particular article in question. It does not seem to contain any inflammatory language and uses the Inspector General's report to prove the facts the article is claiming. So, far, it looks pretty reliable., unless of course, one believes that the IG was drunk when he wrote the report.

Thanks for checking up on this.
As I implied: I have used it only a little and so far have not found any problems. Your preliminary assessment accords with my preliminary assessment.
there is only ONE question:
was she given permission by anybody who would be able to give such permission, to have her own private server without it being validated by the gov't, without firewalls, without periodic stress tests and security updates...
according to the IG: NO ONE in a position to give her permission gave it. NO ONE.
The SOS is one of a few people who can actually classify material; further the SOS is OBLIGATED to know the nature of classified material, marked or unmarked. In fact, the SOS is what? 4th in line to the oval? maybe 3rd. Anyway. That also means she is responsible to understand how to keep safe state secrets.
It's really that simple... even if the system wasn't hacked, she has still broken laws and regulations for simply not complying with her oath of office and mishandling classified docs.
there's more to it, but that's what snagged her. the server.

Question
Question: Do we really want to spend years and years trying to translate Clintonese into English? I'm still frustrated from the first Clinton administration.

that's a good one
because I can already here her trying to weasel out of lying: I mean the devices... I didn't realize it was about the server!
because, if you listen to ALL of the video, she never actually says anything specific. I did what others did and it was allowed (well, there would not have been rules against it if it was allowed... but it shows the danger of not being able to hold the powerful accountable)... there were people who took issue with what she was doing and they were told to shut up.

That which is not proscribed
is permitted. An old sergeant used to tell me that in the army, this was the get out of jail free card. Know the regs better than others and you can get away with a lot of shit.
Having experienced the fluctuation of the enlisted pay scale, I can testify that this is not always true.
