Your Jill Stein loving, conspiracy theory tin foil hat wearing, Democrat hating, Russia hoax believing, DK and Hillary despising former Kossacks at C99% are probably wondering where you are.

A fascinating read if you ever contemplate why you left there.

My contribution way at the bottom:

A fascinating thread.

@Bisbonian Jill has had a concern about election integrity that I and many others share. Electoral fraud has likely been committed by Democrats and Republicans (more probably by Republicans). If one could ever get a proper recount the electoral fraud might be revealed. Since one can not demand a recount on the part of the winner of an election, Jill and others demanded a recount on the part of the loser--HRC. BTW the Green and Libertarian parties paid for a recount in the 2004 Presidential election in Ohio. The recount was not allowed to be carried out in a fair and honest fashion, to be sure, but the Green Party has a history of attempting to bring fairness and accuracy to our voting system.

@detroitmechworks , she was supposedly doing. There were a few states that were close enough for a recount, and she called for a recount, as was her right. There was some evidence of vote manipulation, and she accomplished some measures to keep a closer eye on that. That benefits all of us.

@Roy Blakeley Jill was polling steadily at 8% then some polls had her at 15% following DemExit.
She got 1%.
Polls had Canova at over 50% in Florida vs DWS. He got 5%.

I am glad Jill Stein is doing much needed work to change our fraudulent election system.

where Trump won, and pretty much seemed to only care about possible election fraud and voter suppression on the part of Trump. Which, given the primary we had just had with Hillary, about which Jill Stein was well-informed, made her efforts seem less like a concern with election integrity and more an attempt to hand Hillary Clinton some unearned credibility.

Trust is hard to come by and easy to lose these days, and for good reason.

None of this means Jill Stein is the devil, or even a bad person; what it does mean is that I don't trust her in the way I would need to trust a leader: not to be suborned or intimidated or cajoled or cozened into supporting the very people I want to fight.

EDIT: If she had to challenge the election on behalf of the loser for legal reasons, that fact should have been loudly put in the foreground of every interview and speech she made about it. Maybe then more people wouldn't have seen her as more post-election maneuvering by the scumbags who run the Democratic party. I, for one, assumed they had found some way to "get leverage" and "put in the knife," as they said they were going to do with Bernie.

...and such was also true of one Franklin Delano Roosevelt, of whom I literally happen to have a desk-sized idol by my bedside. How good is Bernie? as it is How much can Bernie do?

The evidence of 2016 would suggest he can do a lot to raise consciousness and provide a rallying point for left-wing (and other) dissidents. The evidence of 2016 also suggests he can do very little else.

Rather than asking How good is Bernie? perhaps we should be asking What will we do when they defraud him again?

This time, the defrauding of Sanders will be very, very easy. No pesky caucuses with their real people physically present; it'll all just be data stored digitally. Result! Also, if anything goes wrong, the Department of Homeland Security will be there to rectify any mistakes, like maybe a lot of votes going to a dissident voice.

Boy there sure is a lot of people there who are still pissed at Bernie. But even more who are still pissed at his supporters.

Bernie built a tiger. Bernie found that the tiger lived without him and that he had no control over it.

If you paid attn you can’t deny that he allowed crowds at his rallies to boo her and he only stopped talking and smiled. Or that he was introduced by Paul Song who called her a Democratic whore and did nothing correct it or that he stayed in the race and trashed her long after the race was over. He also encouraged the “race was rigged” meme.

By the time he had to gather his supporters to get behind her he was “surprised” that his supporters didn’t like her. Read this. If he did support her thoroughly, he couldn’t get his followers to do the same. Maybe his smear campaign wasn’t the best idea.

Ahh yes. Telling people what your opponent has done and said is a smear campaign. This means that Hillary smeared Trump when she called him Putin's puppet and the other things she said about him. And remember when she smeared Obama by insinuating that he was a Muslim?

My favorites though are the ones that call people like us Russian bots and that we were just biding our time for Russia's puppet candidate to finally expose themselves and run for president. No. I'm not kidding. This has been stated numerous times there. One prominent member is looking forward to seeing "Bernie bros attack Harris". I wanted to mention that most of the 'Bernie bros' have left the site. I guess we haven't been missed yet.

If he did support her thoroughly, he couldn’t get his followers to do the same. Maybe his smear campaign wasn’t the best idea.

Bernie actually didn't say much about Hillary throughout the primaries. Bernie had all those followers in part because they were around to have lived through the Clinton and Obama years themselves and had seen firsthand what Hillary is and does. Bernie didn't post the vid of HRC's "we came..." cackle. He didn't say she had ducked sniper fire in Sarajevo. He didn't urge her to give highly-remunerative talks to Wall Streeters. He didn't cajole Debbie Wasserman Schultz to tip the scales in the DNC for Hillary. Bernie didn't tell her to wallow in fundraising events on the coasts and ignore voters in PA and MI and WI. All that was visible in real time to anyone who had a synapse or two still firing.

And what's more, Bernie did not enact an Ides of March decree, anywhere. All of HRC's problems in that election were hers or her followers' -- not Bernie's. But self-reflection was never their strong suit. Everything was about its being their turn.

Her emails? Damn right her emails. Instead of saying that he was tired of hearing about them he should have asked her why she needed to hide them from being seen by a FOIA. And in addition to what you posted he could have gone after her for her pay to play, her great idea of invading Libya, Iran war vote and so many other things he could have brought up.

The person who wrote that comment also stated that '' the primary was rigged" like she doesn't believe it was. Guess she missed it when the DNC admitted that they did it and that they don't have to go with who wins the primary. They can just go in their back room and decide who they want to be their candidate. This is why I think they are just going to insert Her at the convention. Hey. They got away with doing it before right?

Actually, they only rigged it to make it look like a real democratic election.

Guess she missed it when the DNC admitted that they did it and that they don't have to go with who wins the primary. They can just go in their back room and decide who they want to be their candidate. This is why I think they are just going to insert Her at the convention. Hey. They got away with doing it before right?

Legally, the DNC is a private club and not affiliated with the government. It doesn't even have to hold a sham primary (which it calls a "member preference poll)." The "Poll" results are not legally binding and have no legal bearing on whom the Party leaders select as the nominee. In 2020, the Party Bosses did away with all caucuses — because they leaned toward progressive candidates like Bernie Sanders. They secretly kept all their SuperDelegates to use at henchmen — if they don't like the polling results. It's their Party and they can do whatever they want to get the results they want.

I know you know all this already. But I wish Americans could get here, intellectually, because then the nation could have a really productive conversation about democracy in the US.

For starters, my issue is that the majority of American voters are barred by the states from voting in the Primaries — so they have no say in who the candidates will be. That happens because the number of Independents is greater than the sum of both Parties. Because the US has no Federal Election System, the corrupt states that already default to blocking voters whenever they can, simply ruled that Independents cannot participate in selecting candidates via the Primaries.

I want to hear Americans say that they want an election system that has silent legal barriers built in to make it all-but-impossible for a third party to adequately participate. I want to hear them say that they want only two elite Establishment Parties to decide what their choices are. I want to hear Americans say that they don't want the Parties to use, respect, or allow a democratic process to take place during the Primaries — and that the Party bosses have their permission to decide who their candidate choice will be. And I want the American majority who are blocked from participating in the primaries, to say they don't mind footing the whole cost of the Party Primaries with additional taxes they must pay to their states. I want them to say that taxation without representation has a nice ring to it.

Maybe if Americans are Intellectually Honest about this one thing — maybe it will catch on. Maybe they'll start to think critically about other government decisions that profoundly impact their lives.

The Intelligence Agencies are doing everything in their power to prevent that from happening. The ongoing lab animal experiment at Daily Kos has been the Proof of Concept for American brainwashing since 2006.

They first pretended they were having an actual election, and then broke the rules both for caucusing and for electing politicians, including manipulating people's voter registrations, which is actually a form of fraud, and therefore illegal, right?

What they did in Nevada was...special.

What I think is that in order to dodge the consequences of doing all this ratfuckery out in the open, brazenly, they had to reveal the ugly truth they'd been hiding for years. Interesting, eh?

But you know, surprisingly few ordinary people are putting the pieces together, fully accepting what that really means for the immediate future, and then speaking the truth in public places. We need more and better storytellers.

That comment and a little research led me to another "inspired" observation. A truth, I thought. I planted it today, and it's been floating like a small turd in a punch bowl. Speaking the truth is not as easy or effective as it sounds:

A little more than a week after she both-sidesed the government shutdown, Tulsi Gabbard appears to be circling the drain like leftover Spam and poi.

Finally! Someone finally said it.

- It’s really funny how “criticizing other Democrats only helps Republicans” only ever seems to apply in one direction—criticism from the left. Somehow, calling a candidate a pie-in-the-sky tax-happy communist isn’t “dividing the party,” but pointing out a candidate’s connections to Wall Street or Big Oil is.

- Or, “We’ll lose his/her Senate seat if he/she is the nominee. therefore we must nominate X instead”.

I’m sick and tired of that red herring. No doubt it’s impressive to impressionable newbies at their first rodeo, but it's a transparently dishonest argument — it assumes we’ll lose the Presidency anyway — and it’s being propounded by some people who should — and DO -- know better.

And Tulsi is nothing more than an ambitious, selfish wretch.

- She’s not ready for a presidential campaign and it shows.

I’m glad there are so many women running that my inner feminist doesn’t feel the need to stick up for the ones who don’t seem presidential caliber. We’ve got Harris and Warren and likely 1 or 2 more.

There it is. Selective feminism, sexism and misogynism which just goes to show that the ID politics crowd are a bunch of hypocrites. The comments go downhill from there. Flags flying...

Hmmm, left out stuff about bots, trolls and Koolaid though. "Jill Stein loving, conspiracy theory tin foil hat wearing, Democrat hating, Russia hoax believing, DK and Hillary despising former Kossacks" is just too long to put on a hat. JSLCTTFHWDHRHBDKAHDFK is pretty long too. Maybe a T shirt?

As of 1:30 PST (Left Coast SWJ time) and 4:30pm BPT (Boston Patriot Time) there were 53 instances of the word Russia/Russian five instances of Putin.

Who would have thought that a diary on Bernie in TOP would even remotely have one instance of those words in the beginning of 2016.

I'm tired of this back-slapping "Isn't humanity neat?" bullshit. We're a virus with shoes, okay? That's all we are. - Bill Hicks

Politics is the entertainment branch of industry. - Frank Zappa

So TOP was definitely around in 2010 and riding high over Obama when the democrats went through an electoral democratic party apocalypse which resulted in like 1000 lost local state sets going into 2016. Some of that is regained in 2018...about 200 but don't quote me.

What gets me is that TOP writers, etc, fancy themselves election experts and are touted as critical dem activists at a national level. Well as so-called election experts, their effectivenss could be called jack-shit.

That whole bullshit about giving Pelosi $80K in roses was just self flagettation mainly to pimp Kos as the official nationa move and shaker of the POC vote.

I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.

@MrWebster
people are much more inclined to bestow upon you a level of expertise when you tell them what they want to hear.
