Your tax dollars at work. Every time I drive by this place I hear Carl Sagan in my head, "Billions and billions ...".

We wanted decent healthcare, a living wage and free college.
The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.
evening azazello...
thanks for the tune!
heh, does uncle sam allow regular mortals to drive in and visit their tax dollars in repose?
No.
Pima Air and Space museum gives tours, for a price, but you can see some of these planes as you drive by on public roads. A much better use of government funds than schools or clean water, don't you agree ?

Great article
Thanks for posting it here. I especially liked the part where he talks about the profit motives for black and brown persons who make up the majority of people in prison. And how after they get out most doors are closed for them to start living again.
The Washington Generals should probably sue the Democrats for copyright infringement.
evening mimi...
thanks for the link. i hope that the slave rebellion is going well; i've been away from any sort of news for several blissful(ly ignorant) days now.
that's good, I want to be away too from any news
and be blissfully ignorant too. So I decide to go.

Good day, joe, rare headline in local news: "Man caught stealing
ginseng."
Happened about 3 miles as crow flies near a small rural community. Article stated the property owner called the Sheriff and after a foot chase in which the thief dropped the roots, they lost track of him, but spotted him later in a car and gave chase again. Apparently, he abandoned the car for another footrace which he lost.
Considering the reputation of the mountain community and the value of ginseng, the thief is lucky to have avoided buckshot or worse.
Just like northern Humboldt, ginseng farmers have traps and cameras and dogs protecting their woodland crop.
Anyways, i got a chuckle from the story.
Cheers for the news and blues.
evening smiley...
heh, glad they caught him; there's little worse than stealing somebody's means of sustenance.

Why would Russia even need to interfere in our country? Our government does enough damage that I can't think of what more Russia could do.
