Hola, Joe! In case I don't
run into you later this evening, hope you have an enjoyable long holiday weekend.
By sometime next week, assuming that I've finished helping Mr M, I'll have quite a few more screenshots which I 'hope' will illuminate UMFA policy (as outlined in Bernie's Bill). It appears that the language is confusing to some folks. 'Maybe' they will help.
Hey, I'm excited as heck--just discovered that there's a 'chat' plug-in available for WordPress blogs. I've said I would, but, never have gotten around to converting one of my WP blogs to a healthcare blog. (Right now, the theme is general politics, or dogs.)
We'll see what happens, but, seriously, thinking of attempting to setup 'live chat sessions.' (very occasionally) If it's doable, I'll let you Guys know, then, maybe a few of us could set up a day and time, and try it out.
Again, I'll have to see if the WP 'chat' plugin will even work with one of my blog templates, first. Both of them are somewhat older templates, so, there's that. Fingers crossed!
Lousy weather, here--went outside a minute ago, when the lights began to flicker. At least it's cooled down a tad. Just hope the rain lets up, by the time I need to take the Pup for her last walk this evening. It's enough of a challenge--in good weather.
Everyone have a nice evening, and stay cool!

This is a horrible story
Mayor, doctors and social workers arrested in scheme to brainwash children into believing they had been abused and sell them
Who could come up with this idea and then talk others into going along with it? I'm still holding on to believing that hell exists.

Awful story
Great Chuck Berry!
Great Chuck Berry... writer, arranger, player, performer, showman, man he was all that... and could even play the blues. I love him dang near as much as Keith R. I suppose. 'His' rhythm riffage is one of the keystones in the foundation of rock and roll.
Have a great weekend!

Losing Mad is a loss for sure
At one of our helicopter bases along the Gulf coast, a former co-worker and I used to bring certain magazines/rags to the employee break room and leave them there for all to peruse at their leisure. One of us would bring the latest Weekly World News, and the other would drag in the hot-off-the-press Mad Magazine. This went on for a long time. Each was always out on one if the tables and those issues were in tatters by the time the new issues were brought in.
That break room was always full of laughter. I'm retired now, but I wonder they're going to do now that both print magazines are history. Probably, they won't be laughing quite so much.
I used to love the WWN.
We wanted decent healthcare, a living wage and free college.
The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.
Stranger than truth
I know. I miss being able to at least pull it out of the news-rack in checkout lines and bemuse those standing in queue on either side of me as I read about Shoes Found on Moon!, or some such. Then, I'd really blow their minds and purchase the thing!
In the aforementioned break room, we actually had some of the weaker links totally convinced that everything between the covers was God's Own Truth. It was amazing ... well, maybe not so amazing if you consider that folks still buy the Russia-gate malarkey. About the same, I guess.
Somewhere I read that most of the WWN writers were Brits, all living in some town in Florida. They sat around in a few bars drinking hard liquor all day and came up with this stuff. Can't remember the town, but if I remember correctly, it's the same place where all the Carney people live. Not surprising, if you think about it.
