Evening folks and Happy New Year
I'm hoping that this year will be better for all of us as we struggle to find our way through this ridiculous administration that has help from the even more ridiculous congress.
If anyone is interested in some good reading while joe is off enjoying himself, here's one from Moon of Alabama that deconstructs the New York Times article that provides cover for the FBI. I've seen other writers speaking about how bad this could become if a real investigation is ordered. The republicans are asking for one and a new special prosecutor. There were too many shenanigans that happened during the last election.

From the comments I found these other great articles.
Sad news about Robert Parry who suffered a stroke on Xmas eve. It affected his vision which he discusses and he also writes about some very important political history and about journalism and what has happened to it.

These articles also talk about the Times article

This one is about the possibility of the US involvement in the Iran protests. Are we seeing another CIA induced Arab spring so that Bibi and Trump can get their Iran war going?

Excellent article on the first year of the Trump

I have my camera batteries charged for tonight's super moon. I'm trying to talk myself into going out to capture it. Durn cold here.
What do you make of this, Snoopydawg?
But then there's this:
I have no idea what's going on with Iran
and those tweets, but it looks like Israel is up to no good. Again. I'm sure if Iran assassinated one of their scientists it would give Israel the excuse to go to war. Not that they need one. But I'd like to see them use their own troops and money instead of ours. Why should Americans die for Israel?
Exactly, what is Israel up to?
I've been on Twitter way too much lately! Thank dawg I go back to work Wednesday, weather permitting.
Found this, and immediately thought of Killary and Brock's mentor, Bibi (lil Davie Brock learned about paid shill propaganda armies from the best), and his "style" of utilizing social media:
I don't know what the official stance is of the Israeli govt.
Maybe this is a real, heavily edited compilation of how a few people truly feel. Maybe.
Israel is up to regime change in Iran
News of the Iranian protests are on every news channel. The problem is that the videos of the protests are fake.
Check out this Twitter feed.
The Trump tweeted that he wants Iran to treat its citizens with respect and not arrest the protesters. This is rich coming from the president who is trying to put 200 people in prison for decades because they dared protest his inauguration.
The Orioles! And Frank Loesser!
Loesser wrote all of those Hans Christian Anderson songs, like "Thumbelina", "Inchworm", "The Ugly Duckling" and all of those Guys and Dolls songs like "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat", "Luck Be a Lady", "Take Back Your Mink" and the lyrics to the classic "Heart and Soul" which everybody learns on the piano if they just learn one song.
and now some more Orioles
Good evening & Happy New Year Joe and all the rest of us.
I've been news free for a couple of days now, and it sure has been nice. Playing catch-up on chores, to-do list and getting organized, not so much, but it is still pretty relaxing just letting it all go by.

Hola, Joe & Gang! Wanted to drop
in before the Alabama-Clemson Game 'heats up.' Because of watching bandwidth, I don't get to play every tune that's posted, but I'll be back to play the King and Redding videos later.
I must say, this has been one of the chillest New Year's Day that I remember, except for Alaska, and believe it or not, a New Year's Day that we spent in Oklahoma.
In OK, the temp was in the low 20's, but the wind was howling at 30-40 mph--while we were moving. Ugh! Always said that I can't remember a time as miserably cold in Interior Alaska, as we experienced that afternoon/evening for several hours.
Hope your enjoying what's left of the holiday weekend, and that this year will be a wonderful one for your and yours.
Everyone have a great evening--stay warm!
Oh,
ROLL TIDE!
