Dutch farms are being destroyed at the rate of five per day, thegreyzone.com/2022/12/08/dutch-farmers-technocratic-plan/ by extreme lawfare waged by an organization called MOB, funded by the WEF and multinational big ag corporations.
MOBilization for the Environment is spearheading the legal fight against any and all challenges from Dutch farmers, both big and small, to continue working their family farms as they have for generations. The smaller farms are especially vulnerable as they cannot remotely match the money being arrayed against them.
And the rules are constantly being revised in a choking manner of evermore regulations.
Extreme legislation by a government cowed into submission by the same forces, or simply bought out, have led to farmers being forced to keep time consuming records on fertilizers, whether organic or manufactured, applied to their soils, the number of animals grazing, and even how often they mow their lawn around their homes.
It is a calculated effort to destroy the farming industry entirely and control the food supply, not only of the Netherlands but most of Europe as it is widely exported.
What happens in Europe will be a precursor to our future here.
It's only a matter of time before Klass Swabe will be telling us "We will eat nothing and be happy".
Will us American farmers have Paraquat in our future? Or Agent Orange?
Wadda ya think?
The thread is open.

He led the charge to ban the use of that herbicide, and was sucessful even in Mexico. Thoroughly corrupt Mexican government decided it was bad for business to poison your northern customers.

agricultural policies make no sense from a sustainability standpoint.
Using carbon emissions as an excuse to shut down farming is as
stupid as waging war to establish peace. Nonsense.

Investors buying-up farm land are working on a market share
scheme to eliminate competition IMO.

like Gates and Blackrock etc. are snapping up prime black soil farmland in Ukraine to control that food supply, but Russia may seize it away from them. IMHO, this is why the corporate west is fighting so damn hard to defeat the Russian advance, too much investment threatened with catastrophic loss.
Russia should leave them with just Galacia.
Put a nice little Nazi bow on it.

@earthling1

driving thru eastern Long Island there were many signs out informing the public
of hundreds, if not thousands of acres of arable land bought by some outside
group. Buying and using this land are two different things.

We are lucky to have a local agricultural trust. Farmland is held by the trust to prevent
future development. Sellers get a tax break and can save the family homesteads
in perpetuity. We are now working on changing the building codes to allow potential
green farmers to erect a barn / living structure on the properties so they can work
the land and maintain livestock in situ. This will bring in young folks who will be able
to afford living arrangements, make hay and add to the community without long
commutes.

@QMS
We have something called Urban Boundaries across the river in Oregon where urban sprawl is strictly limited. The boundaries are periodically reviewed to accommodate increased population, but rulings are geared to using up empty urban spaces and building up.
Of course, increasing homelessness exerts major pressure to expand the boundaries.
I don't know how bulletproof your trusts are, but some important American leader once said "Nothing is sacred when Congress is in session".
Our Second Amendment seems to be the only thing they fear, otherwise they could not care any less about the people.

@QMS It is astonishing how much carbon emissions come from private jets. One of the easiest bans would be no more private jets. Of course not the be-all-and-end-all but something easy to do rather that has an impact than enacting policies that threaten the food supply. You can bet that will never happen. Instead go after farmers.

What will happen is that elites will not be bound by environmental rules either through loop holes through regulation or just out right buying their way out. For example, some proposed rule to ban gas stoves??? Want to be the rich will never have to be bound or will find ways to get gas for themselves.

WEF Declares People Have No Right To Own Their Own Cars: ‘You Can Walk or Share’

Thousands of private jets fly into Davos each year for the WEF’s annual summit, but according to Klaus Schwab ordinary people should not own their own car.

The global elites in Geneva, Switzerland, are now instructing their Young Global Leaders embedded in governments around the world that far too many people own private vehicles and they must be priced out of the market with massive gas price hikes.

Citing the fact that “the average car or van in England is driven just 4% of the time,” the WEF claims this means people in developed countries including the United States should not have the right to own their own car. People should sell their car and walk or share because “Car sharing platforms such as Getaround and BlueSG have already seized that opportunity to offer vehicles where you pay per hour used.”

And it’s not just cars.

The end of private ownership is essential, according to the WEF, and can be applied to everything from cars to private homes and even city-wide design principles.

“A design process that focuses on fulfilling the underlying need instead of designing for product purchasing is fundamental to this transition,” the WEF sets out. “This is the mindset needed to redesign cities to reduce private vehicles and other usages.”

Part of the “circular approach” appears to be driving already sky-high gas prices even higher.

Klaus read my lips.

Especially the "flyover states", where distances are long and mass transit has been effectively strangled. Let them try walking ten miles to the nearest town, and coming back with a heavy load of (overpriced) groceries!

Screw that, screw them, and screw their delusional medievalist "Lord of the Manor" fantasies!

they have that much fresh water as so much of the country is below sea level. Clearly, the farmers are doing something right.
I was appalled to read that a permit was needed to mow your yard, even out in the countryside.

Andrei Martyanov explains the daily bombardments of news about weapons sent to Ukraine.

Here's Andrei:

"So, generally, it is all, again, about PR and a desperate desire to be seen as "doing something" under the conditions of obvious catastrophe for VSU in Soledar and Bakhmut, which serve as a slaughterhouse for remaining reserves of Kiev regime."

" Same as Bradley IFVs, Strykers and their foreign iterations such as similar Canadian vehicles are not survivable on the modern combined arms battlefield against the enemy with a very strong armor component, artillery and combat aviation, not to mention having an extremely good situational and tactical awareness."

@earthling1 has collapsed in Soledar. Troops are encircled and some analysts are predicting a surrender on the order of Azovstal last year.

And yet, the USA propaganda sails on. Unrelenting. And the public has moved on barely even noticing the scant news from Ukraine.

has already begun by huge entities such as Monsanto and Cargill. In the not so distanct future nothing but GMO seeds will be available, at least in the western world.
I failed to come back with some Mexican heirloom corn seeds from my cruise. There was nothing available in the cities I visited and was told the agricultural areas was where they could be found. I do have some family connections in rural Mexico and I am working that angle. But it could be all for naught as in the Netherlands they prohibit the planting of corn till late fall, well past the prime season. Could happen here too.
What is becoming clear is the world wide attack on the global food supply by the western powers.
I think it was Stalin that said "Whomever controls the food supply controls the world".
Or something to that effect.
What happens in the future all hinges on the successful rebellion of the Dutch farming community.

I know it is a chore, even if a good one, to do an OT.
This whole WEF/Gates movement to crush agriculture is not merely sad, but it is evil. Monsanto and GMO seeds will kill us, or at the very least, shorten our life spans by decades.
It has to stop.
Now.
Wish I had happy news, or even happy thoughts, but I think we need to stay aware and make every reasonable attempt to prevent the taking of the food supply.
