Last night I watched parts of a local TV debate for the election in less than 2 weeks.
The incumbent Jumaane Williams debated his challenger Dr Devi P, a youngish physician I'd never heard of. The Position is NYC Public Advocate and it is second only to the mayor in power.
The Issue was Mandates.
Jumaane, who is a very well known NYC activist, legislator and Progressive and beloved by most New Yorkers, shocked me into speechlessness. His position was "What is the fuss? We've always had mandates."
Dr Devi lit into him with what I consider to be the truth.
"The Mandates we grew up with became mandates after 20 years of data on effectiveness and safety." (Not Operation Warp Speed---profit at any human cost)
"The Mandates we are talking about stopped the diseases they dealt with, usually in one course of treatment." (sometimes boosters are necessary after a period of years, not endlessly)
Nobody gave their children the Polio Vaccine with the understanding that the kids might lose the use of their legs, but hey, at least they won't die.

The US government has purchased 65 million doses of the Pfizer pediatric shot - which is expected to contain one-third of the dosage for adults and adolescents. The FDA's independent advisory committee will meet Oct. 26 to consider authorizing the Pfizer shot for children aged 5-11.
To top it all off, CDC Chief Rochelle Walensky says her agency will still recommend that children wear masks in schools even after the vaccine is approved for kids.
When will Americans come to their senses?

It’s significant mutations are in the spike protein and therefore may further erode vaccine antibody efficacy. If governments have joined the WTO they basically agree that all the measures they support and allow will be the least burdensome - that means maximizing profits for investors. They took pictures of my skin blemishes, are passing them on to all associates in the facility, and took 3 biopsies of 3 different blemishes. In other words, this "spot" looks that this condition, but that "spot" looks like another, but, ooh, this one looks like yet another.
We are all different, and one size fits all helps some, kills some.

A Hopeless Mess
Last night I watched parts of a local TV debate for the election in less than 2 weeks.
The incumbent Jumaane Williams debated his challenger Dr Devi P, a youngish physician I'd never heard of. The Position is NYC Public Advocate and it is second only to the mayor in power.
The Issue was Mandates.
Jumaane, who is a very well known NYC activist, legislator and Progressive and beloved by most New Yorkers, shocked me into speechlessness. His position was "What is the fuss? We've always had mandates."
Dr Devi lit into him with what I consider to be the truth.
"The Mandates we grew up with became mandates after 20 years of data on effectiveness and safety." (Not Operation Warp Speed---profit at any human cost)
"The Mandates we are talking about stopped the diseases they dealt with, usually in one course of treatment." (sometimes boosters are necessary after a period of years, not endlessly)
Nobody gave their children the Polio Vaccine with the understanding that the kids might lose the use of their legs, but hey, at least they won't die.
I am thinking that we are chewing on this endlessly because it is the fundamental issue underlying our entire quivering structure of gov't. In this issue we can see ourselves as little more than livestock to be stripped of our value, used up and discarded.

For the second time,
I was advised by a dr. not to get a vax due to my crazy reactions to all kinds of every day, ordinary, standard medicines.
I find out tomorrow what has been found in my blood tests for everything from Lyme to herpes, including COVID.
I am waiting for a vax waiver for people like me who might drop dead if they jab. Doubt it will happen. I would love to board a plane, go to Africa again.
Don't know how many of you were ever called "interesting" by a dr., but I was today, for the second time this month. They took pictures of my skin blemishes, are passing them on to all associates in the facility, and took 3 biopsies of 3 different blemishes. In other words, this "spot" looks that this condition, but that "spot" looks like another, but, ooh, this one looks like yet another.
We are all different, and one size fits all helps some, kills some.
This is not politics, not religion, it is examining one's self, making one's personal decision on how to live life.
Good grief, allow room for human beings to try to live out their life span.
