Do you think Google will help steal the election?

VERY interesting interview Lee Camp had with Dr. Robert Epstein regarding how Google hits and what's trending could help steal the election.

One of the Google executives formed a PAC just to help Hillary. I've heard that before, and wondered about the conflict of interest and whether or not he'd try to rig the election in Hillary's favor via Google if his PAC money doesn't sway people. [I remember what happened when someone set up the site for Rick Santorum since he had not reserved a site for his own domain name. I'm not sure if the site is still up or not, but I don't want to Google it to find out either.]

In the last interview Rachel Maddow had with Jane Sanders, Rachel's intro contained the little tidbit of info that, so far, Hillary has not bought any ad time for the remaining states that have primaries. That doesn't mean various Pro-Hillary PACs haven't bought ad time, but it is interesting that Hillary herself hasn't purchased ad time (yet).

Suffice to say, I will be watching the next few months with great interest.

I think that the 1% should form a corporation and buy land somewhere else away from the US. They can own a chain of Polynesian islands.

falsifying vote totals from all-too-easy to hack voting machines. "Hack" is an exaggeration here because it doesn't take much to do that to many models, if you have access.
As to messing with the data they present, I doubt Google would do that because that kind of lack of integrity would hurt their business and ultimately cost $$.

anything as large as google with a meta-style business like indexing the entire internet has very little to fear from people questioning its integrity.

  • Google has some record of manipulating results but it seems to be limited to benefiting google directly.
  • It's worth noting that on most debate nights Google has been reporting Sanders as #1 search terms.
  • Google has no need to manipulate these results. The MSM are already manipulating the information flow and Google's normal algorithm would already highly bias the results in favor of Hillary.

Overall, I'm not very concerned. Americans in general are "trapped in the matrix". Slowly, more and more are working their way out of media mirror box and the ability to counter this sort of manipulation is key to effecting one's own freedom. What this researcher is saying is that lazy people will be duped and that's hardly anything new.

A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.

The results by others...
I think we can all recall Rick Santorum's "Fecal Froth" problem...

I'll also confess to have engaged in some exploitation as well with a suddenly popular search term, where a few of my websites held 1-9 in the results on page 1, and 6 places on page 2 & 3 of the results...

When you find that Golden BB... Why not?

The Groundwork, according to Democratic campaign operatives and technologists, is part of efforts by Schmidt—the executive chairman of Google parent-company Alphabet—to ensure that Clinton has the engineering talent needed to win the election. And it is one of a series of quiet investments by Schmidt that recognize how modern political campaigns are run, with data analytics and digital outreach as vital ingredients that allow candidates to find, court, and turn out critical voter blocs.
But campaigns—lacking stock options and long-term job security—find it hard to attract the elite engineering talent that Facebook, Google, and countless startups rely on. That’s also part of the problem that Schmidt and the Groundwork are helping Clinton’s team to solve.
The Groundwork is one of the Clinton campaign’s biggest vendors, billing it for more than $177,000 in the second quarter of 2015, according to federal filings. Yet many political operatives know little about it. Its website consists entirely of a grey-on-black triangle logo that suggests “the digital roots of change” while also looking vaguely like the Illuminati symbol...

Thanks for posting. With the proper resourses and a national platform, Lee Camp could fill the void left by Jon Stewart's departure. I've really enjoyed his programs lately. In my opinion, he shows a lot of promise.

Are definitely part of the suggestions Eric Schmidt and Alphabet would have made to the campaign...

When you have something unfavorable it is best to hide the unfavorable under a mountain of irrelevant results created by $hillbots on a powerful platform...

This renders searching to find something into an exercise in futility...
