The Dirty Trickery of Hillary’s Campaign is Proving to be of Mind-Boggling Magnitude

Originally published Nov 14, 2017

Recently we have learned that Hillary bought total control of the DNC throughout the primaries by bailing it out with tons of cash acquired with a novel money laundering scheme which made a mockery of any campaign contribution limits. Whether or not this scheme was technically legal, it was a repugnant scam worthy of the Koch brothers, and should never be allowed again; at a time when progressives should be forging a true democracy in which politicians are funded by average citizens (a la Bernie), Hillary strove to outdo the Republicans in reliance on big money interests. The DNC was plenty fine with this corrupt deal because it was controlled by Debbie Wasserman Schultz — Hillary’s campaign manager in 2008. The efforts of the DNC to keep Bernie virtually invisible with a rigged debate schedule were enhanced by collusion with the MSM, which ignored Bernie as long as possible and then portrayed him as an unelectable “socialist”(in Noam Chomsky’s words, he’s just “an honest, dedicated New Dealer”) — thereby convincing many voters who found Bernie refreshing and appealing that nominating Hillary was the only way to prevent a Republican presidency.

(Parenthetically, Wasserman Schultz had been installed as DNC head in 2009 because Hillary had secured the resignation of the previous chairman, Tim Kaine, by promising that he would be her running mate in 2016; needless to say, if Bernie or Elizabeth Warren had been the VP choice, rather than the nebbish Kaine, Hillary would have won in a walk. So Hillary’s egomaniacal drive for power came back to bite her in the ass.)

The “Russia interfered in the election” narrative appears to have been generated primarily by the unproven claims of Crowdstrike, a Russophobic computer security firm retained by the DNC, complemented by the mysterious and fraudulent Guccifer 2.0 persona, a hoax concocted by DNC associates (likely from Crowdstrike) to slander Wikileaks as an accomplice of malicious hackers directed by the Russian government. The Deep State — or at least that small portion of it hand-picked by the psychotically Russophobic Brennan and Clapper — was more than willing to be duped in this regard, as their agenda is to demonize Russia so that we will continue to pour trillions into the military-industrial-intelligence complex for “defense”.

Hillary’s campaign and the DNC — one and the same, actually — paid for the generation of the “Trump dossier”, a collection of unvetted fantasies slandering Trump concocted by Kremlin associates under the direction of ex-spook Christopher Steele. Hillary’s campaign repeatedly lied, to reporters and to Congress, to keep their association with the dossier secret. That’s because they were arranging for it to be represented to the public, not as highly dubious oppo research, but as an “intelligence analysis” that the FBI was taking a careful look at. Steele had managed to pass his dossier to the FBI in mid 2016, and, incredibly, the FBI appears to have used slanderous fantasies in this document as the legal basis for commencing surveillance of Trump associates. The dossier was then introduced to the public by Michael Issikoff and other MSM hacks as “intelligence” under consideration by the FBI, and its chief allegations were made public. It seems likely that this dossier, and the surveillance that it gave rise to, played a key role in convincing Hillary supporters that Trump’s campaign had somehow “colluded” with the Kremlin in its (non-existent) program of interference in the U.S. election, and in ultimately giving rise to the witch hunt currently being directed by Special Counsel Mueller — an investigation in search of a crime.

Meanwhile, with hypocrisy impressive even by Hillary’s standards, the MSM tried to paint an innocuous meeting between Trump associates and a Russian lawyer — who did not have dirt on Hillary, but was instead lobbying for repeal of the Magnitsky Act — as treasonous collusion warranting impeachment; when at length the role of the Clinton campaign in commissioning Kremlin-affiliated spies to generate dirt on Trump emerged, Hillary’s people and the MSM just brushed this off as traditional oppo research. The Trump Jr. meeting appears to have provided an excuse for the Obama administration to increase its surveillance of Trump associates, and there is credible but unproven speculation that this meeting may have been a set-up, coordinated through Fusion GPS, intended to entrap Trump Jr.

Throughout the campaign, Hillary faced grave legal problems because, during her tenure as Secretary of State, she had traded access — and perhaps favorable decisions — for donations to the Clinton Foundation and large speaking fees for Bill. Her private server was a scam intended to evade FOIA requirements for government transparency, likely because she didn’t want any “smoking guns” to emerge documenting quid-pro-quos linking donations with favorable actions. The fact that this scheme inherently entailed exposing US secrets — including the identify of US intelligence assets overseas — to hacking by foreign governments, was of no concern to Hillary. When this effort to evade FOIA was confronted with a subpoena, 33 thousand subpoenaed emails were bleach-bitted out of existence — while Hillary partisans continued to smugly insist that there was no proof of quid-pro-quo.

Fortunately for Hillary, the Obama administration DOJ and FBI made sure that no indictments emerged during the campaign. It was made clear to Comey that the DOJ would not enforce the actual wording of the Espionage Act — which does not require malign intent, only “gross negligence” — but would only indict if it could be shown that Hillary had intentionally engaged in espionage by passing secrets to foreign powers. Unlike Elliot Richardson and William Ruckelshaus during the Watergate investigation, Comey did not have the integrity to resign in protest of executive corruption; instead, he cravenly chose to “go with the flow”. And since Comey had no reason to suspect that Hillary had functioned as a spy, it is hardly surprising that he drafted her exoneration letter months in advance of key FBI interviews. With respect to pay-for-play, the DOJ simply made it impossible for the FBI field offices looking into this to make any progress, denying them use even of the Hillary emails then in the FBI’s possession. Furthermore, the fact that this investigation was in progress was kept secret from the public. Offers of immunity were handed out like candy, but there were zero indictments. Owing to this intentional obstruction, Hillary skated throughout the campaign; if indictments had been forthcoming, Bernie would likely have been the nominee, and Trump would not now be President.

And so this is what the scheming of Hillary and her cohorts has wrought: A candidate completely unacceptable to the majority of Americans emerged as the Democratic nominee, leading to the election of a grossly unqualified, clownish narcissist who, while posing as a populist to garner the support of middle class voters fed up with their declining living standards, has sold them out by supporting regressive and hard-hearted Republican policy agendas. For over a year now, the bogus claims of Russian election interference have mounted incessantly — amplified by the shocking revelation that Russians participate, to a miniscule extent, in American social media — giving rise to a Second Cold War that puts the world in much greater danger of accidental nuclear Armageddon, imperils our First Amendment rights, and helps insure that vital domestic needs go unmet while we pour trillions down the unquenchable maw of the military-industrial-intelligence complex. And, despite the fact that over a year of intrusive investigations of Trump and associates have failed to turn up a shred of evidence that Trump campaign somehow helped or bribed the Russian government to sway our election, Hillary’s partisans still await with baited breath the revelation of the smoking gun that will at last enable Congress to hand the presidency to the Christian conservative maniac Mike Pence.

Killing Seth Rich to prevent the debunking of the Guccifer 2.0 hoax would just be the cherry on top.

Hillary was very quick to denounce the half-hearted endorsement, but there is a reason why Koch’s support for Clinton should come as no surprise: the Kochs helped propel the Clintons into the White House and were a major donor and backer of Clinton’s Democratic Leadership Council (DLC).

When Bill and Hillary Clinton moved into the White House in 1992, they had a lot of people to thank. Prominent among those people were the Koch Brothers and their massive corporation, Koch Industries, Inc.

Donald Trump triumphed in the Republican primaries, at least in part, because he explicitly rejected the party’s donor class and relentlessly painted his opponents as bought-and-paid-for. “These are highly sophisticated killers, and when they give $5 million, or $2 million or $1 million to Jeb [Bush], they have him just like a puppet,” he proclaimed at the Iowa State Fair.

In that sense, Trump’s selection of Indiana governor Mike Pence is exceptionally strange. For years, Pence has been a loyal political ally of the biggest GOP donors out there: the Koch Brothers.

Pence has employed many top Koch staffers in his political offices, and vice-versa, while a steady flow of Koch money has filled Pence’s campaign accounts. Indiana, which Pence has governed since 2013, has become a testing ground for many of the network’s conservative policy ideas. “Indiana is one big free market, [and] much like Koch Industries, Mike Pence … picks the right fights,” said pollster Kellyanne Conway in 2014. (Conway is one of many people who has worked for both Pence and Koch-affiliated groups, and she now works for the Trump campaign.)

As strange as the Pence/Koch ties are re Trump, Secretary of State Pompeo is at least as strange. Pompeo is a carpetbagger, foisted on the state of Kansas by the Koch machine. Pompeo owes everything he is to the Koch brothers.

If Trump still is pooh-poohing the large donor class of GOP RINOs (doubtful), then the Koch brothers must be laughing their heads off. They own this guy.
