We all know how MSNBC and CNN are just like Fox, but for the far-left.
Just look at the chart.
But what qualifies as "far-left"?

So Pelosi, Warren, and MFA are "far-left", and obviously crazy, and that's according to MSNBC and CNN.

You'll never learn anything from tv anyway
Not anymore. Even the 'educational' channels are nothing but garbage these days. I wish more people would stop watching tv, use ad blockers and ignore the constant stream of propaganda and advertising they try to shove down our throats 24/7/365, and go outside or something. Alas, nobody wants to give up their sportsball and reality tv shows. Sigh.

Every once in a while
Every once in a while you can learn something useful by watching tv. About a year ago I was watching a show called, "Homestead Rescue" and I learned that guinea fowl eat ticks. I can't really remember anything else I've learned from tv - except maybe from sesame street and mister rogers when I was little.

I learned to put mashed up, warm, boiled potatoes in my salmon patties, for an Irish twist by watching a cooking show as a teen in the 80s. Won't cook them any other way now. Sooo creamy!
It's not like it used to be, even if Sesame Street is still there. I did get addicted to Downton Abbey on a whim to see just what all the hoopla was about. Now I'll watch Finding Your Roots rarely, but that's about it.

He said, "shu shu" (sp?) which was said at the end of every show by the main character, a cat who lived in the royal palace set during one of the historical dynasties.
He did it unprompted, as we were all leaving, with her standing at the door to see us out. He even bowed as he stopped in front of her as he said it. The look on her face was priceless, and she returned the phrase and bow.
He had never done anything like that before. I had no idea how closely he listened and how much attention he paid until then. They're little sponges, kids.

I've repaired a laptop, and resolved countless computer issues. Also installed a replacement part in my washing machine, using YouTube. The son I mentioned above taught himself bass guitar which he eventually played in jazz band at school, and how to tie a necktie among other things.
It can be very informative.
My husband
fixed the cruise control in our car--bought the part, and looked up a YT video and fixed it. I was impressed.

The only thing I needed help with was putting the top-loading washer face down on the floor. The guy who helped me do that figured I wanted him to replace the part, damsel in distress shit I guess. Nope lol. Just didn't want to tear a bunch of stuff up, me included, trying to get it turned over by myself in the constraints of the laundry room.
Gotta love the fact people put their how-to videos online for us to use. I had forgotten about the car repair videos, or diagnostic videos out there until your comment about the cruise control.
