Wendy got a kick out of me and my bf/now husband's great time jointly doing the food preparation, then applying the heat to said food. And an endless difference of opinion on spices and so forth. Near throwing things at each other. Near. Didn't occur. Man, keeling over with laughter.
Wendy might have been encouraged that Assange's doctor today said NO as to extradition. When I read that this morning, I immediately thought of Wendy. I wish I had clarified.
She always wanted to know if I was A or B.
I am A, and the goofball, or "goober tooth", is B.
This is how it went tonight. I wish Wendy was reading this. Rest in peace, bless her heart.
B (goober tooth) decided the green beans would be kicked up with bacon, after I asked him, A IMMEDIATELY knew that onion was also needed. A trimmed off the bean tips, trimmed off bacon fat, chopped onions, got it in the pan, got it cooking, told B to finish it, because front porch, breeze, cold beer, etc... Oh, B was squawking, A went to the porch to avoid B's bitching. See the contribution A made? 120%.
Now, B has accused A of "burning shit" for over 2 years. B put some chicken tenders in the oven while A rested, deservedly so.
Veggies, a team thought and effort, was perfect, for which A will take full credit. Now, that oven baked chicken...some of it was burned to shit. The rest was, I admit, a great compliment to A's fabulous veggies. B will admit, 120% of the meal is A's effort.
These are trying times. That we even have food to cook that we can afford or find is not a given down the road.
Wendy would rage at the Machine.
