Bernie's Digital Director: Yesterday we made over 1.3 million phone calls! Let’s do it again today! NEW GOAL: 2.6 million calls to #TakeNYbyPhone

TEAM: together, we did something incredible today. Almost 6,800 of you logged in and made calls during NY calling hours. That was a few hundred short of the 7,500 callers we were hoping for on Day 1 of our big #TakeNYbyPhone weekend, BUT you made up for it and we blew past our goal of 1 million calls for Day 1, with over 1.3 million calls in total!!
This is HUGE. It’s the kind of record-breaking activism that will take this political revolution all the way to the White House.
As a result of how well today went, we’re announcing here on reddit a NEW GOAL for tomorrow of 1.3 million calls again—and 2.6 million calls for this weekend in total.
As we said before when we announced our initial call target, this goal is ambitious, and there’s a real possibility we won’t reach it. But if we all commit to call for as long as we can tomorrow, and invite all our friends to take the plunge with us, we will reach it. And if we make enough calls to New Yorkers, and if the volunteers on the ground knock on enough doors, we will win on Tuesday. It really is that simple.
To everyone here who made calls today and helped us reach our Day 1 goal—whether you’re a top caller or today was your first time on the phones: THANK YOU. You are amazing, and it’s truly an honor to be with you in this movement. Let’s do it all over again tomorrow!

Got a call to my landline yesterday from a young-sounding man in San Diego! We had a nice talk. At least 2 calls I have picked up to my landline (in NY).

I made about 50 calls today
most were for bernie! Had about 5 that were unsure but said I could put them down as lean or strong bernie after talking with them
only a few clinton supporters, some hangups and they said they liked trump. The calls are working and if my response rate is any indication, out of 100,000 calls we get about 10,000 ADDITIONAL bernie supporters!
If you do not understand that being part of the "establishment" is a slur in the minds of 99% of the U.S. population then you are completely out of touch and probably are one.

When you guys talk to Bernie Supporters during phone banking, remember to encourage them to also talk and reach out to their friends and family (where possible), and help bring out the working class voting-block and get it to be as large as possible.
