This should be happening literally every day to Blinken and the rest of whichever administration is in power.

The fact that this is such a rare occurence tells us a lot about how complicit our media is.

I’d love to see someone ask Blinken about Julian Assange when Biden or one of his mouthpieces talks about how important press freedom is to America. Gjohnsit wrote about Biden going to Saudi Arabia and beg the prince to up their oil output after during his campaign he promised to treat the prince as a pariah for killing Khashoggi.

For 4 years democrats and the media rode Trump’s buttocks for his war on the press and yet not one of them has confronted Biden for his persecution of Assange.

It’s good to see Abby trying to hold Blinken accountable for his hypocrisy.

Aiden Aislin given the death penalty

along with another Brit and a Moroccan. There is a good chance that the sentence will be carried out - as a warning to others that should try to join the war in Ukraine.

British men who fought for Ukraine sentenced to death

Two UK citizens and a Moroccan man, who fought for Kiev, appeared before the Supreme Court in Donetsk

A court in Donetsk has sentenced to death three foreign men, who served in the Ukrainian forces and fought for Kiev in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). British citizens Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner, as well as Moroccan Saadun Ibrahim, were found guilty on Thursday of acting as mercenaries and attempting to seize power by force in the DPR.

They were also accused of undergoing training in order to carry out terrorist activities on the territory of the state, which was recognised by Russia in February. Kiev, and most of the world, regards it as a breakaway province of Ukraine.

London has demanded that its citizens be treated as prisoners of war under the Geneva Conventions. However, Britain is not formally at war with the DPR.

Authorities in the DPR have said they consider them to be mercenaries, who are not granted the same privileges as regular combatants under international law.
