Well, I just went and voted (Stein, couldn't bring myself to break my pledge to not vote for evil, even to stop Clinton.)
Some interesting anecdotes:
My wife went to vote right after she got off work this morning. She arrived about 20 minutes before the Florida polls opened. She reported that there were only about a dozen people in line and by the time she was done voting there was no line whatsoever.
I decided to wait and go closer to peak time (shortly after 5PM when I figured people getting off work would be arriving to vote) and there was zero line. I walked straight up to the person, surrendered my mail in ballot and then got my approval slip to pick up my ballot. (Was excited to see that my #DemExit to the Green party had already been registered!!! Woohoo!!
On my way in and out to the polling station there was a pair of large black signs with bold lettering saying, "No political advertising, signs, or electioneering beyond this point.
Can you guess what was directly in front of all four signs just past shy of the limit?
4 Trump/Pence signs.
Nowhere in the ride towards my polling place (at a church in a rural neighborhood) I saw ZERO Clinton signs.
Not a one.
About 15 Trump signs on the side of the road and on peoples lawns. (I was somewhat happy to see a couple, "VOTE GREEEN!" signs but only a couple.... Upside? That's a couple more than I saw for Clinton.
Ok, Now for the survival part of this guide.
On my way home from the polls I decided I needed to pick up some necessary supplies for the evening and the morrow.
For our first survival item we are featuring our good friend Alcohol. Ahhh, that stalwart companion that has helped me not give a shit about things in the past, if only for a short time, is going to make a strong entrance tonight I think no matter the outcome.
Now, as I was pretty sure that even that wouldn't be enough to quite help us get through the evening I had to break into my emergency supplies and bring out the big guns. (One of which you can see on the right side of the screen in the previous photo, however tonight is already necessitating the bringing out of the big guns...)
However, I fear that even with the above it may not be enough to get the job done so I have the following two items. First, one to pour into my eyes so I don't have to see that smug, arrogant evil smile if she manages to steal pull off a victory.
And a couple of these to jam into my ears so I don't ever have to hear her voice again:
(Maybe I can sue the manufacturer for not putting a warning label on those things... But then again, since that's me even if I win I wont get shit, lol!)

I am gave it a lot of thought because I called it a LOOOONG time ago that Trump would have a strong chance of winning despite all the pundits words.
But I also am diversified, I have my very limited (Pre-2008 $38k, which only recently recovered) in stuff that I know will recover, but I will end up with a net of zero growth on investment for the next several years.
I could have shifted it around and gambled but I decided I just didn't care enough to bother following my own advice because in all actuality it is so little that even if I moved everything around and timed it perfectly what would an extra 6 or 8% net me on that small of an initial nut?
It's not like retiring for real is anywhere on my radar anyway. (Not if I have my way at least, I ain't where I want to be yet.)

Oh, and I took a peek at TOP. I couldn't get any of the live threads to load, but there was a doom-and-gloom diary on the sidebar and literally the very first comment was, "Oh my god, my stock portfolio is going to take a beating over this."

No it wasn't "chic" that led me to vote Jill Stein, it was her policies and those of the Greens, which were far more in line with this Bernie voters values than those of HRC. It wasn't "chic" at all; it was the fact that HRC is in fact a deplorable person who campaigns, well, deplorably, and expected us to swallow her b.s. about being a "real progressive" when just about every progressive thing she said during the campaign was exactly the opposite of what she'd been saying all those years before (the notable exceptions being her warmongering and Cold War/McCarthyism 2.0 rhetoric). I'm looking at the numbers and I haven't found a single instance where giving Clinton AAAAAAAAAALL of Steins vote would have changed a thing.
But, if Oregon has an unexpected surge of Stein voters it could go the other way and Trump pulls a shocker. Then, Oregon/Stein would be the new Florida/Nader.

He is ethnic Chinese(adopted) and says tensions have been high at his school. He went to bed early while many states were still too close to call, so if he wants to take a mental health day, I will not stop him. He goes to college next year and faces some dark years ahead no matter what. This really is a bit of our Brexit - a lot of people have been ignored by politicians and the media and they found a way to get their attention.
I am pretty stunned, I must say - and I was just planning to sign up for Medicare in the morning. I expect a Trump win will earn up the contempt of the whole world, and this election cycle has shown our political system/oligarchy has earned it. No matter the outcome, there will be problems to fix tomorrow.

But have a job interview over the phone--basically a screening interview to see if I go forward. My job was transferred to India thank you paid off politicians like Clinton. We know about the large scale bribes of various heads of states, but it was not just countries, but others also. The Clinton Foundation also got money from major Indian outsourcers--the head of one of them said that American workers were essentially fuck ups. Any American high tech worker regardless of race, creed, gender who votes for Clinton is asking for their jobs to be either replaced by H1b visa holders or moved to India. But high tech bosses want her.

I honestly was calling and expecting a Trump victory for some time, but it is really looking like Trump may pull this off, but there is still a chance she can win if she take Nevada.
I assume she will end with CA and VA (But VA is very close) PA will probably go towards her, but I am thinking Florida will counter that.
As it stand? Trump has a 41 point Electoral College lead.
The Clinton Camp has to be in utter chaos right now. They have been so wrapped up in their bubble of inevitability that this has to be a major shock to their system.
Now lets just hope it is a shock to the electoral system and both parties.

Since we're making predictions...
I won't be surprised to see Hillary lose Hawaii due to the Stein factor. Progressives are very progressive in Hawaii and Hillary has never done well in Hawaii. Horrendous would be a better word to describe her performance there. Hawaii went well over 70% for Bernie over Hillary and Stein is on the ballot there. I think this may be one state where Stein actually receives a significant number of votes.
On the other side, republicans in Hawaii are full blown, tea parting republicans. They want to change everything in Hawaii that makes up the reasons they want to live in Hawaii but the hate the liberal atmosphere and they always, always vote! There have also been other elections that went republican when there was a split on the democratic ticket.
With Stein on the ballot and Hillary's unfavorable numbers there, I think Stein will pull her biggest percentage of votes in Hawaii. If that happens, it may take away enough votes from Hillary to allow Trump to win. I'd LMAO if Hawaii's 4 electoral votes made the difference in the election!
