"Actual" Press Conference for Victim Hillary w/ video!

Hat Tip to Leu2500 for letting us know this was scheduled.

From The Hill

Clinton calls media coverage of campaign ‘frustrating’

I didn't hear it live, so this is all I have to go on until I find a video. Guess what? It's all about Trump, it appears... Press is soooooo much nicer to that man than they are to her!

“I’ve been somewhat heartened by articles recently pointing out the disparate treatment of Trump and his campaign compared to ours — I don’t understand the reasons,” Clinton said. “I find it frustrating, but it’s part of the landscape we live in and we keep forging ahead.”

"I’m not asking for any special treatment," she added. "I know the road that I’m on. I’ve been on it for 25 years and I just get up and keep moving forward."

That's our girl! Moving forward in the face of abject adversity! Wow! We are so blessed to have her to steal our primary, aren't we?

The tone of the thing seemed to be finger-shaking at a very naughty media.

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! Know who else is ALL TRUMP ALL THE TIME?! Hillary!

She wants to go after the leader of ISIS just like going after Bin Laden.

She only got to 278 days without a press conference. That's not anywhere close to 365, so, pretty much nothingburger, I guess.

Found the video - just watching it now.

I think it's notable (isn't it?) that Hillary's pantsuit matches EXACTLY the blue on her plane. Wow!
OMG it's the same color as the c99% banner! OMG!

Interesting: She says we 'brought Bin Laden to justice.' I don't actually remember a jury trial - I just remember an assassination. The country may have felt justified in doing that, but I have a hard time calling that 'justice.'

Seventeen minutes.

NEW ANALYSIS FROM THE HILL:

Five takeaways from Clinton’s press conference

Just listing their 5
*Media doesn't ask about emails
*Clinton wants race to be about Trump
*She’s not committed to ‘leaning in’ yet

WAIT, THAT'S ONLY THREE!

The most extraordinary thing about Clinton's press conference was not what was said, but rather what was not said.

Clinton fielded questions on the polls, the media’s coverage of her campaign and whether she thought Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus’s remarks about her style at a forum on Wednesday night were sexist.

But less than a week after the FBI released notes from its interview with Clinton, no one asked her about the issue.

(snip)

The press also didn’t ask about the exploding controversy over Clinton Foundation ties to the State Department. Democrats believe those issues have been beaten to death, but the media will surely be criticized for declining to follow up.

POLITICO's take on it:

Clinton tries to salt Trump's wounds

Nothing much worth reporting back - they pan Trump, of course, and:

Clinton wasn’t given high marks for her performance Wednesday night, either. She looked uncomfortable as she was pressed repeatedly about the scandal around her use of a private email server while at the State Department — a controversy that continues to produce new twists and turns. She also struggled to clearly and forcefully express her plan to keep America safe from foreign threats.

that we have used or planned to use our military to steal oil from other countries? Didn't Cheney and Rumsfeld say we'd steal Iraqi oil to pay for the war? Didn't the US help sponsor a coup in Iran to keep the democratically elected president from reclaiming Iranian oil for the Iranian people? Isn't part of our meddling in Central America done to control oil, i.e. Venezuela?

Why were you reeling from Trump's remark that we should have kept ISIS from gaining wealth from Iraqi oil by taking control of it when we left?

Trump ain't no progressive. He's a repulsive, ugly inside and out, bigoted, crazyman fascist. Climate change is our biggest threat and Trump calls it a hoax. Who benefits from that? Not the little mom and pop stores. It's idiotic to vote for him as an alternative to Hillary. Vote for freaking Stein or Johnson. Trump will do zilch to stop election fraud in the future.

that I like him at all. I'm saying the TPP is the biggest threat not only to our economic welfare but also to the environment. And Hillary is pretty much an author of its terms and the puppet of it's beneficiaries. So I don't believe for a minute that she's not going to make it pass.

On the other hand, you can't believe a word Trump says. He may oppose it now but suddenly find it the grreatest treaty of all times after election.

Hillary will have both sides of the aisle helping her with her neocon agenda, whereas any politician worth his salt will see support of Trump as a death wish.

I'd love to vote for Stein. I haven't made up my mind yet. But I do know either Hillary or Trump will win (barring something like sudden death) so the question between only those two is: who will be less effective?

But maybe I'm wrong - today is, afterall, the first day of the last three weeks of September, and we'd all better have our seatbelts fastened b/c the email releases are gonna come fast and furious, and we get interrogatories on the 29th!

But there was also that agreement with the Soviet Union on nukes that freaked out our military/state department, etc.

So I'm pretty sure that Reagan probably ended up saying some nice things about Gorbachev. Closest I can find is this blurb from wiki re his autobiography: "In his autobiography, An American Life, Reagan expressed his optimism about the new direction that they charted and his warm feelings for Gorbachev."

"Warm feelings". Yeah, I think Hillary's statement is full of sh*t.

1. She has normal arm swing when walking,
2. She has a normal stride length
3. She does not have masked facies (i.e., inexpressive facial movements)
4. She has no resting tremor
5. She has no hypophonia (low volume voice (in fact, she screeches and cackles.)
6. She does not have monotone speech, even though her speech may be grating.
7. She has a normal blink rate

Please get off this PD train to nowhere. She doesn't have PD--never did.

This is not to say that her neurological health is normal--but folks, there are a helluva lot of neurologic diseases besides PD.

Pulling out all the standard red white & blue memes, making sure to link Trump with Putin at least twice, and paying devout homage to America's "National Security" establishment. Such as it is. A pack of interventionists mostly, and half of them flat out Neocons.

There's not an original thought in anything she says. It's all pre-fabricated faux patriotism. Remember how we "got" Osama? Now we gonna get al-Baghdadi too! In the absence of an existential threat then war is an abomination. Forcibly drafting people into your abomination is worse than rape.

You and I both know that the wealthy young scions will not get drafted. And if they do, they will not be put on the front lines. This world simply doesn't work that way.

I favor the approach that says anyone who votes for war goes to war.... front line. I'm sure they can find a stunt double to stand in for them while they go bring freedom to wherever.

totally true, they'll find a way to get out of it. But the rich aren't the real problem except when they start the wars. A "middle class" who keeps on voting for war is far more the problem IMHO. When a right wingers kid or a limousine liberal's kid is as at risk as a poor kid, then we might get traction to stop the damned wars. This volunteer thing is never going to get us that kind of traction because a majority in this country is not effected at all by our wars and they like it that way. Take that cold comfort away from them and you just might get a viable anti-war movement.

And I say "might" because there's no guarantee that this country is anywhere near smart enough anymore to really get out there and protest to stop the damned things. Look how many Rumpers truly believe we should "just take their oil" with little understanding that we've been playing that game for the last hundred years or so in one way or another. Hell, look at the Hillbots who think the same thing but just know better than to say it out loud. They are OK with Shillary's wars too, and I think a lot of that is because those wars do not effect them personally and they know that. Just my two cents.

middle class kids (and their parents and grandparents) having a stake in whether or not we war as a country. After 9/11 (which had nothing to do with Iraq, of course) we saw that the protests eventually abated once we began fighting. People refuse to recognize the poverty draft, and they act like any who are sent oversees to fight are doing it on a voluntary basis.

The power of the draft to slow our progression to war is that it comes with a built in coalition to object to us warring. That's a powerful force which was extinguished by the peace movement, imho from having grown up with that around me. The public has very little vested interest in objecting to war with that gone.

Six of them spent on a speech about Trump and how very scary he is--and oh, yeah, some retired admirals and generals said this morning they support ME. Another 9.5 minutes on a total of six questions, along with fashion tips, most of the responses became min-rants about Trump.

Watch her eyes while on question #5 as Mitchell moves across the screen (12:07). After that question, Mitchell moves into the screen again, and HRC takes her question after espousing much warmth and affection. The question is preceded by a number of statements to which HRC could voice agreement, looking like she was actually answering questions and to which she could only reply with more Trump bashing. Looked like a setup to me.

Then one minute to walk off stage. Exit Stage Right.

When Bill Clinton was shutting down our base in California, my husband was ordered to stand almost 20 feet away from the POTUS. He wasn't popular with the military if you recall, so not many wanted to even be there - so they were ordered and only certain sailors.

What I saw on TV- CNN... was a huuuuge crowd of our guys whoopin and hollerin it up for Bill. Tons of applause at every sentence. I could not believe it.

What my husband said happened because he was THERE.

They had about 3 dozen sailors in attendance. They grouped them all together to make it look somewhat crowded and filmed from the center of the "crowd". They piped in all the sound later because NO ONE made a fucking sound. Not even polite applause.

Pool to travel with her since Labor Day, is so that she can hold/stage these phony press conferences with only friendly 'questioners.'

Whew!

Will the public buy it, though? I'm 'guessing' that she'll be able to pull it off with the help of our corrupt corporatist media. (present company excepted, of course)

Supposedly, she 'borrowed' one of Jackie Kennedy's favorite shades of blue for her plane trim--scion blue.

Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong.

much less listen to her. Thanks to those who can do that for putting this out there, although I learned more from the comments as I simply will not even listen to her anymore. When one of her commercials comes on I change the channel, even mute isn't enough for me.

I mean, really? A campaign plane? Was she jealous because tRump has one?

Has any other candidate had their own plane? Maybe Obama did, but it's not ringing any bells ...

Someone needs to bust this wide open before Election Day. We CANNOT have a POTUS whose mind and thought processes are medically compromised to such a questionable degree.

and I am sure under Obama Whitehouse.gov is not part of the livery. It was creepy, whole airport held up (PHL?CLT?) and there were snipers visible on the roofs. Show of force, for show.

by the jet behind powering up to scream. Then she could beg off, gotta go. That's the good thing about standing in front of the boarding stairs, easy escape, at least for someone who can walk and climb stairs.
