I'd match my potential schadenfreude ...
... against anyone's, but I'm not waiting for Hillary to implode when Bernie is the person I'm committed to - and that includes paying attention to his message in the face of all the negativity and deliberate propaganda we are facing.
I'll keep up with the headlines and such, but I really want to pay attention to what Bernie's doing right now, and in the face of the above-mentioned media incompetence, that's not as easy as it seems.

i tried to find you on FB after seeing you here, but couldn't. i'm still there posting mostly political stuff. and then animal stuff (i mean bats are so damned cute and this is where social media has so much value: it changes people's perceptions of these wonderful creatures among so many others). And it put Bernie and a movement out there ... the system doesn't control everything.

We love bats!
There's a bat sanctuary that we gave to due to social media... forget the name of it now, saw it blogged at TOP long time ago. Now we are getting our own bat house here. They are major pollinators. We NEED them.

the very first time I thought: okay, bats
was when I heard Martha Stewart talk about them on a radio show... i was in the car, trying to find a station and heard "bat house" so I stayed to listen; I was impressed. i never paid much attention to Ms. Stewart until then. She seemed to know a lot about bats and talked about having bat houses in her garden because they ate the bugs by the thousands. it also got me interested in bats and how important they were.
the other thing I love about Martha? how she came through that whole prison experience, helping the other women there and never bowing down ...
anyway, glad you're getting a bat house!!! and we certainly need them.

They are super pollinators
and they eat critters... and even their poop is good for your garden/yard.
I want to protect bats, I rescue black cats... I hope no one burns me at the stake.

Love bats.
I have a bat that flies up and down the outdoor covered porch. When I open the door, it comes in, does two rounds up near the rafters and flies back out the door.
In the evening there are 3 to 5 who hunt in between the trees silhouetted by the sunset over the Caribbean. I think they are some sort of myotis.. but not sure.
I once fell in madly in love with a grad student who was doing her thesis on bats in the inundated Savannah of Bolivia. Hey have you ever watched a whole tree full of huge fruit bats at night... wow!! Bats are great for faling in love.
I hear that bats are in big trouble in areas of the USA with a huge decline in population due to a fungal disease. I hope that is confined to a few caves and not general.

Cornell West is one of my heroes. During the Bush regime he had the courage to stand up and tell the truth. He did the same thing during the Obama administration he spoke his truth openly, entertainingly, passionately and eloquently. He even took on the establishment black Democratic leadership. He pulls no punch's and it's clear who he works for, it's not him but us.
Bill McKibben is someone I have read for years also. I admire his focus on climate change. Kieth Ellison another great voice. The other people I will look up. I do know Zogby but only as a pollster. We do the tabs and stats on polls, public opinion for a living so I have heard of him. Bernie's selection is quite the mix as far as poc and outspoken liberals go.
Thank you Bernie. Hope this dream team comes to pass. The Democratic party as it stands needs Bernie he is the only thing they have going for them. Despite this obvious truth the Dem. establishment and apparatchik has decided he is not a true (Democratic) Scotsman. Oh my god an indie! Go Bernie.
Thank you Nightprowlkitty. I know what you mean about fb. it is a weird place and overloads my head with stuff and drivel that I somehow have to clear out if I spend much time there. Logging out sounds like a good sane move whatever your reasons are. Now dkos that's even worse. How much fear and loathing can a body/soul take.
