Hahahaha. Terry, you're killing me

Jeepers. Who could have expected this?

"Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe on Tuesday expressed “shock” at reports he is under federal investigation for questionable campaign contributions, and insisted that any such probe should have no bearing on the Clinton Foundation.

but we can all be assured the Clintons are shocked, shocked too:

reported on Monday that McAuliffe, a longtime friend and fundraiser of the Clintons, is being investigated by the FBI and Justice Department for accepting $120,000 for his gubernatorial campaign from companies controlled by Chinese businessman Wang Wenliang, who also donated millions to the Clinton Foundation.

Funny have the diarist is giddy with joy that a Democratic Governor is looked into by the authorities. Nobody knows what this is really all about yet since the leaks seem to show no illegalities. Just because he is aligned with Ms Clinton you would love for some of these allegations to be true. Go root for Trump

Oh by the way, I see you have been here since January and have 1,262 comments. That took me over 2 years.

Not implying anything.

Just noting a fact.

get paid by the comment or are receiving a flat rate? 1262 comments isn't a lot if they're getting paid per comment. Even at $5 per. Unless they're cruising several sites. Someone needs to contact clinton/brock and ask what the going rate for paid trolls is.

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2012/feb/08/what-is-astroturfing

As reported by the Guardian, some big companies now use sophisticated "persona management software" to create armies of virtual astroturfers, complete with fake IP addresses, non-political interests and online histories. Authentic-looking profiles are generated automatically and developed for months or years before being brought into use for a political or corporate campaign. As the software improves, these astroturf armies will become increasingly difficult to spot, and the future of open debate online could become increasingly perilous.

This article was published over 4 years ago, so we may rest assured that this type of government-funded software has “improved” by leaps and bounds since then.

and if not, why not? BTW my non-politicle interests include avocado growing, collecting Star Wars figurines and knitting with cat hair. Am I real? How can you be sure? How can I? This is scary. The only real index of non-personaism I can think of is a genuine and genuinely quirky sense of humor, which some people have here, at least! So some of us are real. But are we/they people at all, or possibly iridescent winged lizards from Cygnus? Oh help. Never mind.

So, who is Wang Wenliang?

The self-made billionaire is worth $1.05 billion, according to Forbes.

He’s been noted as a shadowy billionaire – quietly donating money to causes throughout the years. He essentially owns the main port for transporting goods in northeast China.

His companies in the U.S. launch joint ventures, including construction and shipping. He has given substantial amounts of money to Harvard and NYU and built the Chinese embassy in D.C.

"In a 9-page letter dated yesterday and posted to his blog, Ortel calls the Clintons’ charity the “largest unprosecuted charity fraud ever attempted,” adding for good measure that the Clinton Foundation is part of an “international charity fraud network whose entire cumulative scale (counting inflows and outflows) approaches and may even exceed $100 billion, measured from 1997 forward.” Ortel lists 40 potential areas of fraud or wrongdoing that he plans to expose over the coming days."
...

“The media’s focus is on Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, and whether she took official actions to benefit her family’s global charity. But the mistake is starting from the premise that the Clinton Foundation is a ‘charity.’ What’s clear by now is that this family enterprise was set up as a global shakedown operation, designed to finance and nurture the Clintons’ continued political ambitions. It’s a Hillary super PAC that throws in the occasional good deed.”

the seagulls show up around the time of the 7th inning stretch, waiting for the crowds to clear so they can get to the discarded garlic fries and hot dog remainders before the clean-up crews do. They get a little cranky when a game goes extra innings.

Clintons’ foundation has raised nearly $2 billion — and some key questions

Nearly half of the major donors who are backing Ready for Hillary, a group promoting her 2016 presidential bid, as well as nearly half of the bundlers from her 2008 campaign, have given at least $10,000 to the foundation, either on their own or through foundations or companies they run.

And many of the foundation’s biggest donors are foreigners who are legally barred from giving to U.S. political candidates. A third of foundation donors who have given more than $1 million are foreign governments or other entities based outside the United States, and foreign donors make up more than half of those who have given more than $5 million.
