Her Numbers 'Never Go Up'.
Hillary is currently polling behind Donald Trump in the most recent Fox News poll, and the latest Washington Post poll confirms the picture, with similar numbers.....and, according to Lawrence O'donnell, "Her Numbers Never Go Up."
This is at least the second time O'donnell has made this point. The first that I'm aware of was during the vote counting as the polls were closing in New Hampshire. My ears perked up then, as he made his 'her numbers Never. Go. Up. statement, as it struck me as an interesting factoid, something that tickled my brain, and troubled me somehow.
Fast forward to late this week, when yet again, the statement is made, and expanded on in this piece. Fascinating, and more than a little troubling.
And still, it seems quite clear to me that the DNC and establishment D's would really, actually prefer to lose with Hillary, than to win with Bernie (who consistently beats Trump in head to head polls).
So, here is the Lawrence O'donnell piece on numbers, polls, Hillary's steady decline, and what is beginning to look inevitable, unless the big "D's" in the Democratic Party come to their collective senses -

It seems that big money behind the two decaying parties
want pretty much the same things(except for some societal niceties from the Dems) and we know that those with the money are those who count, so why not admit the USA is saddled with one party with two branches? If you accept that, then losing with Clinton doesn't seem to inconvenience the oligarchs and is part of the scheme.

Basically, the Dems are Republicans without the bigotry. And as important as that is, it's not nearly enough for what ails this nation. The party that combines "no bigotry" with true left-populist, pro-worker, pro-environment, pro-democracy, pro-social-justice and anti-ruling class . . . . will be loved, rather than just tolerated. And that's never going to be the Dems, and obviously not the Republicans.

Someone said that it was rational to support Hillary because they didn’t want their undocumented friends to be hunted down — I had to point out that if Hillary is elected, it just means that a lot of other people’s friends in places outside the U.S. will continue to be hunted down. I suggested that we all need to try to move beyond the unspoken emotion that “my friends count and yours or theirs don’t.” This is “rational” only in the sense that Western economists define a “rational” actor as a selfish actor, acting 100% out of (quantifiable by using game theory) self-interest.
To me this is a values litmus test. Ron Paul will always have at least 1 point on the scoreboard with me because he told a national TV GOP debate audience to look at our foreign policy from the point of the Golden Rule (and while surprised, was not fazed at getting booed for it). Such a simple principle: How would we like it if someone did to us what we do to other countries? Still waiting for any Democrat to oppose American exceptionalism and run on this idea.

Maybe because (speaking for myself) every time you watch her evade, duck and dodge, and plough face-first into bullshit with a smile, it becomes clear that she has no lower threshold for dishonesty. There's no 'too low' for her. She seemingly will equivocate about anything, even when there doesn't seem to be any need to.

In my opinion because she has been very well known from the beginning. When this race started everyone knew everything they needed to know about her yo form their opinion. There has been no reason for anyone to change their opinion.
Well, one more thing, I think a lot of her supporters support her for reasons other than her policies. It's because she's female for some. For some it's just that she's a famous person that the've heard a lot about and some because they think she's the one that can win. I'd guess a small percentage support her for her policies. I don't see how her numbers go up.

i remember that episode when O'Donnell....
...first made that observation. i thought it was interesting then and it has played out as he predicted. in every race run she starts out at her high point (known entity) and her numbers creep downwards from there. they never go back beyond her high point. i think she was at 67% in national polling when she started her 2016 campaign. now's she barely breaking 50%? she'll go up and down in polling but she'll never exceed her high starting point.

Fox polls are pretty legit
They release a clunker now and again, usually commissioned from a minor polling joint. But they don't usually skew their polls, certainly not big visible national ones. Clintonites who don't like what Fox polls tell them will unskew, but the Fox polling is as reliable as almost any other poll.

She and her cronies would be safest if she controls the DoJ, but since top-level Dems and Repubs are very much partners in a lot of the same rackets, a Repub-controlled D0J is still much less threatening to her than a Sanders-controlled DoJ. So, yeah, since the Dem party establishment has pretty much become the Clinton family's door-mat, it would much prefer Repubs to Sanders.
