Brand New Congress / Bernie National Committee - Organizing Kickoff Gatherings!!!
Hey everyone! We’re continuing the revolution with a campaign to elect a Brand New Congress! Come meet national and local BNC organizers and supporters and let’s get this thing started in your city! This event is an opportunity to learn more about BNC, join a volunteer team, suggest members of your community who would make great representatives and meet some amazing new people.

I like the idea
but I don't like the name of the group on Reddit.
I understand why people named the group kossacks for Sanders after either the March 15 deadline or people got banned from dk, but I think it's time for the name 'kossacks' to go away.
I joined this site over a year ago so that I could speak freely and not be told constantly that what I was writing was wrong.
I'm a member of the other group and joined for the same reason after Markos shat on the Bernie supporters, but IMO, the name still idenfies with dk.
It's time for people to move on.

I think the BNC idea has nothing to do with DHRC

I looked at the Oakland CA facebook event page linked and of those going or interested not one person lives here. I looked at the San Francisco page and some of the same names popped up.
Then I though I wonder what Barbara Lee (my rep) has to say about this. I am not unhappy with Barbara Lee.
But I do agree with the need to renew Congress. In my ideal we would steal some Democrats into a new party. Give them a party that gives them (us) a better voice.
