Immigrant Punk here. Like many, I'm a refugee from dkos, which I signed up for in 2006 after many months of lurking. I got in trouble there for suggesting to Hillary people that it will be hard to get votes from people you've alienated. Go figure. Anyway, people I respect from dkos have come here, and so I've come here in turn. Bernie is very moderate in my view, but he's got my support from a progressive point of view. Who says I can't play nice? Wink

If you look at the Democratic party platforms from 1932 to 1980, Sanders fits right in.

What we've seen if that liberals have morphed into conservatives; and, conservatives have morphed into fascists.
There have been several lists of which political stances put one into the fascist camp and from what I remember Sanders is the only one of the several Republicans and Clinton, who doesn't fit the corporatist/authoritarian mold. That fact shows how corrupt, and out of touch, our political leadership has become.
