Bernie Supporter vs. the Democratic Party
"The whore media are trying hard to make her nomination inevitable, keep business as usual. The accusations about Sanders campaign “violence” a complete lie designed to slander and intimidate. The Democratic party establishment is a bucket of filthy slime and deserves to be tossed aside." -- http://bit.ly/27FZ6eO
The song "They're coming to get you, Barbara" By "The Dog-Whistlers" is an integral part of this post.

Hey, Barbara the terrified, what a nice way to unify Team Blue
Barbara Boxer, my (choke) Senator shamelessly proclaimed victory for Hillary at the NV state convention despite all the rule-breaking, delegate-disqualifications, "martial law" which Hillaryites employed. Your wonderful comments made on that despicable day of undemocratic power plays will do just as much to unify the Democratic Party as:
1. Madeline Albright's reserving special places in Hell for female Berniecrats
2. Gloria Steinem's sexist put down of Bernie's female supporters
3. Hillary calling millennial voters "ignorant"
4. Representative Lewis blowing off Bernie's civil rights support since the 60's as being non-existent.
That is some way to unify the party, brilliant Hillary.
Plus moron Ed Rendell insults more than 50% of all U.S. females as being ugly. We need Ed's help for Hillary in the remaining weeks of the campaign--and, while we're at it, some more paid Hillary trolls.
Another Voter Here Who Has Been Turned Off
If the Clinton campaign and the DNC had been even remotely even handed or honest I might have fallen in behind Hillary (although I would have still preferred Bernie). The problem is they didn't and I will in no way support a corrupt party or candidate, so nice job Barb
Ha! Rendell ain't much to look at himself.
Reminds me of the end of the Lyle Lovett song "She's Hot To Go". Lyle says "This girl was so ugly...." The great Francine Reed rejoins to Lyle "Well you ugly too!"

Fascinating article by BAR's Glen Ford,
and I must admit I didn't find anything
in it with which I disagree.
There has already been discussion on
this site, c99p, of Sanders supporters -
in anticipation of getting screwed by
the hard-right-turning Democratic
Party - having a separate convention
of those holding progressive values in
a different city, i.e., not Philadelphia
whose police have the dubious
distinction of being the only police
force to drop bombs on its own citizens
(blacks, of course, back in '85).
While the discussion is nascent and
the hour late, it's my understanding
that the idea behind such a convention
is not to nominate a presidential
candidate but to begin building a
national anti-war, anti-Wall St., anti-
"free trade" movement, which may not
even find its expression as a political
party.
As Glen Ford points out in the article
you linked (if I'm reading it correctly),
what the 2016 election cycle has laid
bare is that D&R duopoly is pretty much
history. What comes next may well be
birthed at a convention in a yet-to-be-
determined city.
Thanks for bringing Ford's article to
our attention. He speaks to many of
us - of all colors.

As for which city, I see joe shikspak has suggested
Flint, Detroit, and Baltimore in response
to my question posted in last night's
Evening Blues.
Anyone else have suggestions for
where the 99% might congregate to
help move the movement forward?
Iirc, the criteria were (1) a city without
a history of police brutality and (2) one
(in the rust-belt?) that could use the
$$ infusion a national convention
would bring.
Don't know if the city needs the money
(although lots of people there sure do)
and it's not in the rust-belt, but the city
with the best crowd control cops in
the US bar none is New Orleans.
They have pretty good music there, too,
or so I've heard - lots and lots of times
over almost 20 years before Katrina relocated me.

Athens, Flint
Athens, Ohio might be suitable as a peaceful place. Flint, Michigan would be wonderful symbolically.
The police in Baltimore, I understand, to be quite a murderous bunch.

Ooooh, let's do Baltimore!
For purely selfish reasons, as I can't get to Flint, but I could WALK to Baltimore if required.
I'll put up as many C99'ers as can fit in my tiny house, as long as they aren't allergic to the cat herd.
Let me be the first to say ...
We don't need no stinking badges.
We wanted decent healthcare, a living wage and free college.
The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.
Amen to that, brother! /nt

Various interpretations.
My mostly visual post has some heavy symbolism and interpretation attached to it. Especially given the recent dog-whistling from the Democratic Party and corporate media. I am still particularly upset and angry about the depiction of the protest in ELA, which was a thinly veiled racist attack of Hispanics and immigrants. I posted about it extensively at a forum I used to visit and was thoroughly attacked as if I don't know both corporate parties history of thinly veiled attacks on our community. As if I didn't know about the millions deported by the present corporate personage in the White House. The same happened in Nevada, the clip I saw repeated on CNN etc. was an Hispanic guy, pointing his thumbs down, and definitely angry. Not to mention the ugly feminist rant about misogynistic dicks and so on... when half or more in the delegation were women.
The song I posted after listening to a certain Senator whose initials are the same as the "Israeli" PM, whining about how scared she was. I have no sympathy for 'Senator B.B.' after she sponsored a major increase in military gear to the right wing Likud apartheid regime. I laughed for about five minutes posting the music video.

I came to this post expecting humor.
And the first image delivered. The second definitely does not. IMO, even though I see Clinton as a warmongering corporatist, the flamboyant evocation of Nazis is beyond the pale.
I agree
The plain truth is damning enough -- no need for hyperbole.
Cool, I manage to offend everyone.
"... flamboyant evocation of Nazis is beyond the pale." Not to people whose families were destroyed by the Clintons in Yugoslavia (the bombing), Iraq (the embargo and the war), Palestine (weapons to "Israel"), Syria, Yemen, Honduras, the small Caribbean nations, Haiti, Columbia, Ukraine, Yemen and others... not to the people who have American military bases propping up totalitarian dictators. Of course, you are perfectly free to see your own symbolism and I respect that but listen to a voice from the victim side...
There is a good case that both Clinton's should be held accountable for crimes against humanity in may instances. Almost all Black and Brown people. The amount of territory controlled by American Empire makes Hitler look like a geographical pauper, and the amount of deaths have not been enumerated. I see no difference between putting some of my own ancestors in ovens compared to bombing, starving, subverting, invading them to death.
That being said I purposely exaggerated the American fears of all sides in the primaries. I would have rather found art depictng H. Clinton as Pinochet, but there is quite a subgenre of H. Clinton as Hitler being made by comic artists.
Note: Hitler memes are way overused and I usually avoid them.

Thick skinned
I guess I am but the Nazi image didn't bother me. Satire is brutal. Gotta risk offending some if you're ever gonna get to the core of anything. On the other hand, I found the image of what I take to be a comic version of Villa kinna offensive. This is what a real Revolutionary hero looks like:
If you don't recognize him (not Villa), you don't get to carry the big red flag in Philly!
BTW, here is a Special Ops squad to go get BB:

Que cosa no hay?
Seriously, I was exaggerating the fears of all sides in the primaries. This was after listening to a TV appearance by Senator Bibi and reading and listening to endless ranting about those awful Bernie revolutionaries in Upper Sonora and how as innocent as fabric softener Queenie Ech is. I love Emiliano Zapata and Pancho Villa. More dan Woodroo Wheelson and I already have made peace with dem sapos who inhabit da cementario. I fully expect to rise on the wings of dem ranas and meet Emilio and Pancho in Paradise (angels singing) within a short while. Por Todos Santos, pues! Pass d watermelon! Pass d tequila wid d worm in it. And don forget d alfalfa sprouts/matzah sang-weetch.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And da Special Ops squad dey perfecto. I think dey replace da CIA and Homeland "Security" after d locos Mexicanos and aliados Bolivianos storm de convention. Un plan muy bueno, no ve? Expect stiff resistance from de narcoterroristas Clintonistas en der uniformes de SWAT. No worry. We put them to sleep wid ganja canisters (empties for refilling imported from Palestine. Vishnu Akbar! Hallie Lulu d 5 dollar whore!
De plan, according to un reportaje de MSNBC and confirmed by CNN, is to nominate d ghost of Hugo Chavez for President (revived in a Haitian voodoo ritual) and Robert Mugabe as VP, after all Mugabe he d miss-o-genic big man, have lot of experience, and is of (angels singing) African origin. Better dan d Queenie Ech. Din we march Kingie Bee and Queenie Ech off to de Hague in handcuffs.
Bravo for Democracia!
