"I will be the nominee for my party" - Hillary Clinton

That is already done. There is no way that I won't be.

"No way she won't be the Democratic nominee," eh?
That expression on her face combined with the "smirk-smile" that says she wants to burst out laughing because she has a secret tells me everything I want to know. I wonder how much it's gonna cost her and her hubby (via the Clinton Foundation) to bribe all the superdelegates? Or maybe that also includes regular delegates?
It also means that if the unindicted criminal gets the nomination, her campaign already has people in place to hack the election in her favor in states with e-voting machines.
I wonder how much Häagen-Dazs I can afford to buy before settling in to watch the show?
Bernie or Bust!!!

There are 150 FBI agents looking into
The Clinton foundation to see if she broke any rules when she was SOS and foreign governments and other corporations donated money to her foundation and then got favors in return.
James wrote a great diary last night and supplied two great links about this, but here is one more.
I'd like to see her charged under the espionage act because Obama has used it on people that didn't qualify to be changed under it, but she definitely does.

Sorry, this is the wrong link I am unable to find the one that says she could be charged under the espionage act, but I searched for it and there's a lot of articles available.
But this link is about the documentary Clinton Cash which is going to be shown at Cannes (?) and will be released before the election.
The trailer is a must see. B

Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?
Oh, that would be finally be a teensy bit of poetic justice.
A member of the administration that has prosecuted more people under the Espionage Act than in all previous years of the republic put together, being charged and convicted under said Espionage Act.
Try this link, but be careful. It froze up my screen.
I also do not know how reliable (or not) this web site is, so it might just be wishful thinking on the part of the author. If it is wishful thinking, it's a very, very good fantasy. If it is reality, we can all live with this very nicely.

Forget Häagen-Dazs
Stock up on Ben and Jerry's!
I've thought of that, can't find a flavor that sounds great
My favorite Häagen-Dazs is dulche de leche, and so far in my local store I haven't seen anything comparable in the Ben & Jerry's brand. I'll look for a comparable Strawberry in Ben & Jerry's and see if they have that (Häagen-Dazs has a lovely Strawberry flavor, too). The fewer ingredients in ice cream, the better it is (especially if the ingredients are simple words everyone can pronounce).

I would think that some
I would think that some "promises" were made when 500 + SDs pledged loyalty to her before the primary's started
What's the delegate count now?
It'll look REAL GOOD if the super-delegates are the margin of victory for HRC.

#HillaryPredicts
Since she is now proclaiming herself the premier psychic- she "knows" she will not face charges, she "knows"she will be the nominee- I suggest this as a Twitter hashtag. How much fun we can have with her predictions, huh? Of course, much work is needed, not just Twitter - but I would love to slow down her smug pronouncements.
She's perfectly safe on the indictment front
But only because she's Too Big To Jail and the Obama Justice Department doesn't have the generative organs to do anything no matter what they actually find.

All I know is that the more I
All I know is that the more I hear from the Hill Shills, the less I want anything to do with her. I know that's unfair, but that's the way it is.

No way No how
could I open this, nor will I vote for her and this goes for most of my family members 20+.Its Bernie or bust!
Wow, just fucking wow.
Well, "It's already done"... yep, it's all fixed. She is really somethin --- and, I don't mean that in a positive way. Once again, the writing is on the wall, and I think it's a mistake for the Bernie people to go to the convention. Let her have the fucking Democratic party. It's toxic, we do not need it --- we've proven that already. Bernie, please avoid the hornet's nest! Just don't go! We'll follow you, we've got your back man!
no show would be a stunning statement
I'm imagining 2000 empty seats.
Can you imagine a big ole progressive
convention happening somewhere else during the run of the rigged one in Philadelphia? Where all the Sanders' delegates and supporters come together and plan for the future.
HRC is used to small gatherings. One more shouldn't make a difference, right? = )

It would be a great place...
for Bernie to announce that he decided to continue his run as an independent candidate and that his name will be on the ballot in all 50 states!
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
George W. Bush
Nice thought, but it is too late for an independent run.
To hopefully avoid the rancid remark I got the last time I stated that, let me clarify.
15 states have filing dates prior to the July 25-28 Democratic Convention, including some must-win states and include Florida, Michigan, Illinois, Nevada and Washington. Ohio has a "sore-loser law" that prohibits someone to run again for the same office in the same year which could be challenged in court but with a cut off date of Aug 10, it is not likely to happen in a timely manner.
Another 21 states, including CA, CO, and PA, have filing dates between three to fourteen days after the close of the convention. Within that time, the campaign would need to collect thousands of petition signatures from each state for the filing. Many states have restrictions on who can sign those petitions. An example is Nebraska which requires that signers are "2,500 registered voters who did not vote in any party's primary." Once those signatures are submitted, they are then subject to review and challenge. Who thinks the establishment will not challenge those?
As Sanders will be attending the Democratic Convention as a candidate, he cannot legally start these petitions ahead of time. In addition, the number of signatures is subject to change, and with HRC and/or establishment people in charge of the system that is a very likely scenario.
So, while those dates have not been reached yet, the deadline for an independent run by someone who is still a candidate has passed.

My understanding is that the Green party
is already on every ballot. Don't know if there is some way to work Bernie in instead of Jill Stein.

The Green Party will choose its nominee at a national convention. This year it will be held August 4-7 in Houston, Texas.

The Green Party is not on every
ballot. They are on the ballots for 20 states. Sanders has repeatedly said he would not run as a third party candidate. He is actually wed to the Democratic Party even as he maintains his Independent Party status. He would not be saying that he will endorse HRC or work 24/7 to defeat Trump if he wasn't. It is one of his negatives whether we like it or not.

I haven't actually heard him say he will endorse HRC
In fact, in every interview, he has gone out of his way NOT to say that. When asked straight out if he will endorse her, he answers, "As I said, I will work to prevent a Trump presidency" but never says "Yes, I'll endorse her if I lose"
Bernie is a pretty honest guy - if his intention was to definitely endorse her, I think he'd say so.
I could be wrong... and he could still think its possible to get some kind of concessions from them, although that's a fool's dream as far as I'm concerned.
But I wouldn't assume he's going to endorse and campaign for her. He might, but he might not.
You're right, Haikukitty.
He's never said those words. He has said he will fight to defeat Herr Drumpf. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds. The best way to defeat Herr Drumpf is to be the nominee. The hope still lives.
"The “jumpers” reminded us that one day we will all face only one choice and that is how we will die, not how we will live." Chris Hedges on 9/11
How else would he stop Trump from becoming
president other than backing her? It may not be some big hurrah for her, but you know she will hold out until he says the words. He will be blackmailed, just like she dos with everyone else, and will get nothing in return...DWS has already said that whatever agreements that are made at the convention are worth nothing.
Yes, he does not say the words in interviews. He is still in the race and still hammering on her, so saying the words would be self-defeating.

Voting Options if Hillary steals it.
If you want to "write-in" Bernie, here is a ton of information on write-ins. Map in the middle showing whether or not the candidate has to file first. https://ballotpedia.org/Ballot_access_for_presidential_candidates
Jill Stein & the Green Party urging Bernie to run with them or to vote Green. She said they will be on the ballot in all 50 states. I think they've seen this as a golden opportunity for quite awhile and have been working on it.
So if you can't vote Green or write in Bernie, looks like that leaves Trump or staying home. What voting options do you really have in your state?
"Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich."--Napoleon
Never mind. It was unclear that you switched topics.
But here is the information for write-in candidates:
I use that site a lot also. Here is what it says about write-in candidates:
You an write someone in all you want, but if the candidate has not filed the paperwork, those write ins will not be counted. I know that Michigan is one that requires the candidate file paperwork:
I would think that if Sanders added his name as a write in, he would let us know. (We do probably need to tell tham that we wish that.) Doing it before the convention, though, would not help his cause.

2000 empty seats
I like it, I like it a lot...
Won't Happen
If Bernie Sanders and supporters aren't filling them, the most vocal adherent to Her High-And-Mightiness will.
Vowing To Oppose Everything Trump Attempts.
More likely: the party will bus in 2000 homeless folks....
hand out of few raggedy Bernie posters and promise them all cheeseburgers if they don't cheer.
Big Mac and fries if they start a fight.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
That Could Be A Problem

That's why a prime time walk-out would be better.
I'm sure among the selection of prime time speakers there will be some who will be walk-out worthy. Barbara Boxer will probably not be speaking but other sycophants will I'm sure, in addition to Hillary herself.
Beware the bullshit factories.
He should go to the convention
And publicly resign from the Democrat party. We no longer can support a party that is financed by Wall Street and the wealthy, doesn't demand health care for all, opposes free state college tuition and has been corrupted beyond repair. Stop war and share the wealth.
As much as I would like to
As much as I would like to see that I don't think Bernie would do that as he still can work some magic in congress
I can't watch that video.
I have seen pretty much every debate and town hall this primary season, and I am sick to fucking death of that woman's self-satisfied smirk. Hillary's arrogance pisses me right the hell off.
It's amazing to me that anyone can be that enamored with themselves with a record as atrocious as Hillary Clinton's. The lack of humility and self-awareness is non-existent, and that's frightening. She doesn't appear to be a particularly enlightened individual, and that bothers me.
Bernie speaks to me at a gut, intuitive level in a way that Hillary never could. He is just as authentic as she is plastic.
I still don't know what I'm gonna do if she becomes the nominee. I'll either write in Bernie's name or vote for Jill Stein, but I won't leave the space blank.
Hillary can kiss my ass. After Nevada, it is assured that she will never get my vote. Nice job uniting the party there, Hill.
I miss Colorado.
that video
I attempted to watch it.

I know, I can't watch it - just the still frame is enough
I am at a loss as to why the universe won't send a bolt of lightening from the sky to incinerate her where she stands. Surely, if anyone deserved to be struck by a bolt of lightening, it's her.
The arrogance, the
The arrogance, the condescension, the sense of entitlement and privilege drips from her every word in that conversation!
So long, and thanks for all the fish
"I will be the nominee for my party" - Hillary Clinton

Looks like the
fix is already a done deal. NV was just a taste of what's to come. It's like a flash back to Bushies selection including the goon squad being sent in to keep order and stop the democratic process. It makes me think that the bait and switch they pulled with Obama was just a prelude to the total dismantling of the representational electoral process.
How come the lunatic Republican voters managed to propel The Hairball freak show into being their candidate? What is wrong with the Democratic rank and file voters? Fear. What a bunch of cowardly anti-democratic brain washed assholes. They really don't care and think this is just the way the world is and should be.
It's inevitable and a good thing as otherwise the Russians, 'terrist's who are gonna kill yer family' and assorted rotten Dr. Commie Rats are coming. Can't have the Too Big's falling on us, the sacred 'free market' will collapse and we will all die from the Hairball.
I hope the Indies and outraged Democratic voters take her out. Who believes this farce of an election when you watch Hillary the Hun open her nasty arrogant mouth and proclaim she's the winner so get over it. People globally mean nothing to the Clinton's. Democracy is the last thing they want anywhere including America as it's an impediment to their neoliberal/neocon criminal world order. Freaking fascistic criminal thugs disguised as Democratic pols. Who goes along with this crap and why?
