FBI Director James Comey

Said today that the investigation into Hillary's email server is not a 'Security Inquiry' and that he didn't know what that term meant. Paraphrasing here, he said the FBI does investigations, as the name implies. Also said no special treatment for Hillary and her employees.

We shall see.

Are terms used by Hillary and her campaign to avoid the term investigation. Pretty sure FBI investigations involve crimes, no need to investigate doing good...

Plus some pretty aggressive questioning from one of the agents who went "off script" by asking "unapproved" questions. I don't think the FBI is inclined to be giving Hillary a break on any of this, and this is Comey's way of saying he's not putting up with shit from her camp.

if the AG doesn't indict.

And Obama's DOJ isn't exactly known for its prosecutions of Gold Club members.

You can bet that Comey is pissed that he can't indict. But you can also bet that the AG will never. let. it. happen.

At least, that's what I've been suspecting for awhile and these obvious little planted tidbits of Dire Problems Because FBI is Coming For Her!!!!! in the press almost like clockwork aren't helping me to stop suspecting it, either...

It shouldn't matter, but I don't think the Clintons and Obamas hang out together. At least I hope not. I want the Clinton Foundation investigated too, Sidney Blumenthal may inadvertently help.

there are three prongs to this investigation: the emails and server, the foundation and obstruction of justice. While she may escape the heavier charges, e.g. violations of the Espionage act, i do not think she will escape all. And if the DOJ refuses to indict, I fully expect there will be leaks. My thinking about why it is taking so long is that the FBI wants a solid, mistake-proof, fully chargeable case(s)...they are crossing their Ts and dotting their Is.

Comey will resign and so will many other FBI agents involved in the investigation. And the leaks will become a torrent.

My prediction is that she will be indicted on EVERYTHING. I predict that the FBI (Comey) and the DoJ (Lynch) will go for blood on ALL counts. I don't think Obama will do ANYTHING to stop them, in fact, it is my firm belief that Obama is actually in full support and encouragement of prosecuting Hillary to the full extent of the law. Having said that, I also think Obama will Pardon her, but only AFTER she is indicted and withdraws from the election.

There's a film coming out on May 16 about it.
The people who made it are from Breibart news, but I have done a lot of research into the foundation and have read numerous articles that back up what is said in the trailer.
On top of the emails that overlap with the foundation, the many, many pay to play deals between foreign governments, the foundation and then the paid speeches for Bill before or after the deals are closed, there's plenty of evidence that the Clintons should be rotting in prison.
The FBI may want to go after them, but they also wanted to go after Petrayous and look at the deal he got. And how he got off being charged under the espionage act.

mostly used during Hillary's time at State as a way to funnel kickbacks on shady arms deals - and all tax free.

Think about it - all those millions she raked in in just four years as SoS.

Now just imagine how badly she would sell us out as President.

Bet she's thought about it, huh?

It's also been called a money laundering scheme for their friends to get access to foreign governments and other high ranking friends of the Clintons so that they can get lucrative contracts.
The stink of corruption coming from the Clintons should be enough for people who are going to vote for her to pull their heads out of their butts and see how horrible a choice for president she is.
Especially when there's Bernie who has been fighting for the little people his whole career.

of the way it's being handled, in general. And even if the FBI is not compromised, like NHK said, I'm very doubtful that this Justice Department would prosecute.

(Remember, there were classified emails passing between PBO and FSC. It's not like he shouldn't have realized that she had a private server, considering her email address.)

Anyway, at this late date, there's little time left to carry out a thorough investigation, even if you look at the Presidential Elections as the drop-dead date.

In some ways, the real work begins after they interview FSC the first time--if there's any there, there.

Of course, I'm still hoping against hope, that the investigation is on the level. But, I'm increasingly doubtful.

the Special-Agent-In-Charge of the CID at an Army Installation in the Alaska Command. Basically, the Agents were all honorable folks, as far as I could tell. (My agency worked closely with the CID, providing the mental health records for the 'subjects' of their probes.)

What I'm puzzled about, though, is that this investigation is still (seemingly) lagging. We are only months away from the Presidential Election. As I recall, CID investigations often lasted years, not weeks or months; so, I find it peculiar that this investigation has not advanced further [than is reported].

Anyhoo, I could very well be mistaken that the compressed timeframe will have an adverse effect on the investigation. But, I would imagine that once FSC is interviewed (unless they immediately clear her of any culpability), the FBI will probably need to conduct another round of field investigations, to check out her claims/testimony. And, that takes time. Unless things have changed greatly since I retired from federal service, believe me--nothing happens with great speed!

Wink

And, it would aggravate me to no end, if this investigation was not wrapped up before the November election.

Hey, thanks for your post!

I have faith in the FBI, but as others have pointed out, the Justice Department does the indicting. The FBI just recommends.

The Feds had plenty of ammo to arrest the Wall Street banksters also, but Obama pulled them back. I don't know if any FBI agent will go rogue either, no matter how honorable, if in doing so they'll jeopardize their retirement, health care, kid's tuition, and may end up in jail and their family homeless.

How in the hell did Hill get away with running State the way she did, filling it with her cronies, the pay-to-play schemes, the private server, the failed FOIA attempts under Obama's watch? Unless he's in on the scheme and got paid off as well. Maybe Bill promised to fix him up with lucrative speaking gigs when he leaves the White House. Bill's got a lot of friends in high places.
