There are thinly verified announcements of abandoning US
bases across West Asia leaking out into the news cycle.
Jordan, Qatar, and Kuwait are mentioned as countries participating.
State Department is also ordering 'non-essential' personnel to leave
Saudi Arabia because Yemen. Could be a head fake.
Speculation is this is in preparation of resuming military operations against Iran
to protect troops from retaliatory strikes. The question remains where are these
troops being relocated to. How far away? And what of existing assets?
Grain of salt. I guess we will see in a few days. Hell to pay.

Couched language like "quietly" and typical CENTCOM obfuscation
can be detected within the report. Will Iran strike first? There is confirmation
US air assets are moving to Israel. That makes them a more concentrated target.

Since this is sorta an open thread ..
Coming back from the market today, I'm crawling up the hill and curves on a local
road and some dweeb comes up behind me honking and gesturing. So I brake to
a stop and he flys by (in a curve) and a big construction truck just cleared the next
curve up the way coming down. Dweeb faced death or the ditch. Chose the ditch.
Obvious damage to his little POS ride. I got a hearty HAHA out of that one. Did not
bother to check on his condition as I knew he would be in a rage. Just glad the truck
driver didn't do anything evasive which could have affected me. Slow the f*ck down.
