Houston We Have A Solution

Go Gtreen! So how do we turn The Bern into a movement? I'm going all in for Jill Stein.

The Green Party nomination concentiin is August 4-7 at The Unicersity of Houston. From a Green Party email:

Here’s a sneak peek at just a few of the workshops.

Green Money Power and The Populist Agenda - An exposure of how the existing system works, its history and global physical and psychological consequences, and the how the Green economic transition would change this.

"The State of Black America" - Panel discussion to highlight issues affecting Americans of the Black Diaspora and how the GP can spearhead a national campaign to spearhead these social issues.

How to Organize Horizontally in Diverse Communities - The process of change has two fundamental strategies. One is dismantling structures of oppression while the second is creating structures of liberation. If we don’t have something to replace what we take down, we will lose the confidence of those we are trying to wake up.

Getting Out of the Fossil Fuel Trap: Possibilities and Costs - A comparison of the promise and costs of powering the entire planet by earth based renewable energy or lunar solar power.

Does that sound like the political party we wish the Democrats were?

Beware the bullshit factories.

I think you'll find a lot of support for Green in November. Woot. Bernie won Indiana. I am not convinced this is over. Let's donate to Bernie and keep on pushing on. I think Bernie has the better case and is the better man for the job. Goal: donate, vote, GOTV, and work the SuperDs.

I like Bernie even more, and his policies are close. And I think he (still) has a better chance. As a pilot, I ALWAYS have a plan B. So I rejoined the Green Party, signed up to get signatures on petitions (and got a flurry of 'we'll get back to you soon' emails), and keep on supporting Bernie. It ain't over. I think Trump solidifying his position might be changing things.
