How Far Can We Go To Destroy Hillary Clinton?

Is it okay to speak my mind here? Will I get banned if I say, "Hillary is the devil spawn of Henry Kissinger"? Just asking if this would be allowed at this website...

If I say that I can no longer vote for the "lesser of two evils", will I be banished to the corn field?

Or, I might want to point out that all of the things that I hated about Rmoney still make me vomit when they are wrapped up in a new and 'improved' (choke) package with the democratic seal of approval.

And, what if I told you that I'm hoping for a million-voter march to Philadelphia on the 25th of July? Would I be spit upon?

Just wondering.

probably will hold my nose and vote for Hill if she's the nominee, but it depends on how the rest of the primaries and the convention go. I will not vote for her if she steals the nom - i.e, if by the convention Bern has the people's votes but she takes the supers.

At any rate, AFAIAC, it doesn't matter whether we agree. What matters is a good conversation.

But, she has been stealing the nomination, already. Lying robocalls and mailings, closed polling sites, people thrown off the voting rolls, flipped votes via electronic voting. DNC=Hillary. Jerry Garcia said something like, voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

evil. I'm going to see how the rest plays out. I think a lot of the nonsense has been not Hillary, I think it's Repubs behind the scenes rehearsing for November, and I have been constantly calling for election fraud investigations partly for that reason - whatever happens now through the convention, we need to fix this so it doesn't happen in the general, or the Repub will be the President.

history will show that the tactics and strategy (or "nonsense") employed are very much a part of the way that they do business. Besides it would be in the GOP's interest to protect Hillary as she is by far the weaker GE candidate.

for an investigation by not assuming anything in advance. Investigate because protecting every voter's right is the correct thing to do, not because it might benefit Bern. Although it might.

I don't mind if you want to, but I'm gonna focus on something else that makes me feel good.

Planet to save, people to educate, and episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race to watch.

I've had enough of the Two Minutes Hate to last a lifetime.

What do you think of the final three on RPDR? I'm mostly pleased. Always 1 or 2 queens I wish had gone further, but this is the first final three that I remember where I like them all.

I was behind a few episodes so I couldn't reply until now! I was surprised at the last person eliminated.

that Clinton is as far away from the levers of power as possible and saving the planet are intimately connected.

Can't speak to the impact on the RuPaul Drag Race situation though.

You're right about HC, but sadly there is little I can do personally in that regard other than vote and talk to people IRL who will listen to me.

there will always be people invested in stopping us from doing good whatever that good may be:
Better education? - out come the Charter school lobbyists, TfA, etc
Mitigate climate change? - fossil fuel industry
Environment? Industry in general
Less war? Neocons and entire MIC
Healtheir food? Monsanto
and always, always the bought and paid for officials and politicians.
at some point we have to take them on as they are not going to step out of our way. Sad that this is the case.

Better to have a massive 3rd party vote happen and the two party left out of the WH with the Greens if Bernie is not nominated.

I have yet to see a post on this site praising Hillary. Not that I want to see one, mind you, so don't take this as a challenge.

to wield hands a lot of power from outside the WH. Obama's administration was chock full of Clintonites. His economic team was nothing but Rubinites, the neoliberal assholes descended from the viscous Chicago Boy school that stemmed from Uncle Miltie. (Milton Friedman)

The Shock Doctrine: An Excerpt From the Introduction - Naomi Klein
http://www.naomiklein.org/shock-doctrine/excerpt

In one of his most influential essays, Friedman articulated contemporary capitalism's core tactical nostrum, what I have come to understand as "the shock doctrine". He observed that "only a crisis - actual or perceived - produces real change". When that crisis occurs, the actions taken depend on the ideas that are lying around. Some people stockpile canned goods and water in preparation for major disasters; Friedmanites stockpile free-market ideas. And once a crisis has struck, the University of Chicago professor was convinced that it was crucial to act swiftly, to impose rapid and irreversible change before the crisis-racked society slipped back into the "tyranny of the status quo". A variation on Machiavelli's advice that "injuries" should be inflicted "all at once", this is one of Friedman's most lasting legacies.

Friedman first learned how to exploit a shock or crisis in the mid-70s, when he advised the dictator General Augusto Pinochet. Not only were Chileans in a state of shock after Pinochet's violent coup, but the country was also traumatised by hyperinflation. Friedman advised Pinochet to impose a rapid-fire transformation of the economy - tax cuts, free trade, privatised services, cuts to social spending and deregulation.

It was the most extreme capitalist makeover ever attempted anywhere, and it became known as a "Chicago School" revolution, as so many of Pinochet's economists had studied under Friedman there. Friedman coined a phrase for this painful tactic: economic "shock treatment". In the decades since, whenever governments have imposed sweeping free-market programs, the all-at-once shock treatment, or "shock therapy", has been the method of choice.

The Long Shadow of Robert Rubin
http://www.americanbanker.com/news/law-regulation/the-long-shadow-of-rob...

"To a lot of people Rubin's an embodiment of the hubris of the era before the crisis," Hurley said. Clinton administration officials, for example, pushed for the passage of the Gramm-Leach-Blilely Act, which repealed a Depression-era provision separating commercial banking from more risky activities and codified the merger that led to megabank Citigroup.

"Bob Rubin and his administration blessed the universal banking model and embraced it and said, ‘make that happen,'" said Wilmarth.........Adding fuel to the fire, Rubin decamped from Treasury in 1999, shortly after the passage of Gramm-Leach-Bliley, to join Citigroup, which at the time was the principal benefactor from the law.

It's not just about Rubin's past, however. The former Treasury secretary continues to have a significant sphere of influence that extends to the numerous acolytes he's reportedly helped advance, including Geithner, Lew and Lawrence Summers, Rubin's successor as Treasury secretary under Clinton and later head of Obama's National Economic Council.

Keeping The Mad Bomber out of the WH still leaves the Clinton machine intact and powerful. The ascendancy of neoliberal and neocon Clintonian New Democrat's from the formation of the DLC/Third Way to this election has been continuous. Obama was just a fresh face they put out their to sell the unfettered disaster cappie globalized economy.

Here's an oldie but a goodie. 'A breath of fresh air' says free market lover Oboomer... I sure wish I had seen this in 2006

So how are we going to pry the neoliberal neocon Clinton machine from running and owning the Democratic party? They are the Democratic tentacle of the blood sucking vampire squid.

And welcome. Although we don't all agree, there are many here you cannot vote for the lesser evil, even if we had any way at this point to know which evil was lesser.

Yes, but we can't. Clintons own the world, its media, governments, corporations, and military. How else do you think they amassed $3 billion since they left the White House? The key in getting rid of them is to not allow them to capture the White House ever again, or all is lost. Bill started and IS the DLC. He owns the Dem party, Obama, state and local Dem parties, boards of elections, union presidents, celebrities, media CEOs. Once they get back in power, they'll never let go. I may sound crazy but I've always had a good sense of danger and they're so psychopathic they're dangerous.
