Afternoon folks!
We've got a variety pack of blues this week. Starting off it's a compilation from the Harlem Hamfats, a Chicago blues/jazz outfit that featured Kansas City Joe, formerly married to Memphis Minnie. After that we've got an album of country blues from Smokey Hogg and some more recent modern blues from Kenny Neal. Next we've got an album of blues/rockabilly/rock from Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Albert Lee and we finish off in a kind of punk rock bag with the band Wire.
Enjoy the tunes and have a great weekend!
Here 'tis:

Hola, Professor!
I know all too much about human-caused climate change. Still wrapping my head around storm warnings appearing in Sp's region of San Diego. NW FL dodged a big bullet regarding Isaias. Some areas, especially barrier islands and So. AL, took the main brunt of the storm. My sis and BIL live inland in Bay County (Panama City area). Their power went out for a few hours last night, and now back on. No other damage. Whew! We long-time Floridians take this stuff seriously. Okay, that's the storm report.
Now, to the important stuff: tunes! I check out the LP art, too. I still know wandering through your music library is heaven on earth to a music freak like me.
Just got back from watching "Queen: Budapest" at the flicks. Excellent. The so-called "music" of today pales in comparison. Glad I lived through it. And so, on that note, I will Rec'd!!
