Not sure how much it will impact oil drilling in the Gulf of
Mexico and gasoline prices but the oil comanies are likely to take advantage of the situation.
From my experience there
The drilling companies are loath to 'shut-in' a working well.
They will wait until the last moment before ceasing operations.
Then cry like hell when the choppers can't rescue them.
It takes a long process to start the wells back up.

I am headed to the title company to close the sale of my office property. We thought it would take days to get my stuff and things out of the building, but the crew got it done yesterday. Music blasted from their speaker the whole time, so I hope the neighbors were entertained.
My work will continue, albeit very truncated. I have a client meeting me in town this afternoon to help her obtain legal title to inherited property. No court hearings involved.
To properly celebrate the occasion, we will have a dinner of beef tacos!

the music. I'm a big fan of those gayageum covers, particularly Luna's. Our heat wave is allegedly fading, but slowly. Meanwhile more than a full day of work around the place today, many things came together and conspired to keep us almost overwhelmed until we take a break in mid November, and then when we return from same.

It seems so far like heading toward Mobile Pensacola area. If it's not one thing it's another. They have the Dengue "emergency" here. Of course, Ms. had to get bit by a mosquito this am. Just wanted to say "Hi" to the community. I have not posted or commented in quite some time. I still check in quite a bit but been in an "absorbing" rather than "emoting" frame of mind. For those who have wished me well and expressed concern over my health issues, Thanks, and yes I am still alive and kicking. Still some mystery stuff going on, but things seem manageable.
I am hoping to write a piece, even today, with some political thoughts. Hoping for constructive criticism and feedback from all of you.
