Good morning, good people! I hope you are all in fine fettle, and have fun plans for the weekend.

A couple of guys came by this week to help remove the heavy stuff from the office. There are files and file cabinets to remove, and the contents of the office kitchen and some closets remaining. I have until Oct. 9 to get that done. We put lots of furniture inside the house, and it will take some time to find the pieces a permanent place. What we will have in spades is time. We are not letting this overwhelm us.

I got this letter from Businessrate. It is likely some scam, but I am being offered some rewards for having the highest rating for lawyers in my community on Google reviews.

Scam or not, it is a nice farewell to my career.

I received at least 3 emails to attend some State Bar seminars about how to use AI without getting disbarred. And then, I ran across this 8 minute video about use of AI and how a jury might perceive it.
