(Update) Feel free to add some more songs of your own in the comments that express your sentiment. Me, I'm not much in the mood for words right now. Had way too much talky talk today. Definitely don't want to talk about the primary.

Hmmm...

"I’m a human being, first and foremost, and as such I’m for whoever and whatever benefits humanity as a whole.” —Malcolm X
I'm so empty right now, or should I say, just too filled with
so many emotions that my mind is overloaded.
I like your idea, and say, Thanks, for the 10cc! Will listen to both afterward (still have TYT on and commiserating with friends via text and at the BNR live election blogs). It's about all I have brainpower for right now, after a long day of GOTV, dealing with my infant, my mother in town, all the election season drama and a couple of Pilsners and some homemade chili. A long walk in the cool spring air of NYC might be next. With music.
Always in times like this John's scathing rebuke of the system rings forth for me immediately:
"If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph:
THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED
FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD
WAS MUSIC"
- Kurt Vonnegut
Truth-teller supreme, hence my sig line....
"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it."
-- John Lennon
This one is always appropriate IMHO
FEEL THE BERN: "But such is the irresistible nature of truth, that all it asks, and all it wants, is the liberty of appearing." - Thomas Paine

Solidarity. We ain't dead. Let's go organize.

Cheer up...maybe some brave soul will leak
what really happened regarding election fraud. Meanwhile, the rest of the states need to be alerted, reminded and pushed.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.--Aristotle
If there is no struggle there is no progress.--Frederick Douglass
This is what I am fighting for.

You know,
this song was the theme for a Bernie ad - one of is most inspiring.

there's always this one......

Money, my 2nd choice, n/t
My favorite Pink Floyd song of all-time sums up crony capitalism
the viciousness of the corporate dog-eat-dog world, and the back-stabbing at the heart of what it means to be a successful "businessman."

Well, I am feeling a bit more aggro... :)
This one is more in line with my current emotions about the PTB right now... *Not safe for work.

Not a song, but media that describes how I am feeling now...
and makes me laugh - this is much needed too right now.
We can't give up. A gesture that is not so futile...keep on Bernin' to the convention! Let's do it.

LoL Thanks! I really did need that... :)
I keep bouncing from rage to disgust to laughing at the sheer absurdity of it all...
I never thought I would be fighting the Democratic party against itself. Not a candidate vs a candidate but against the actual party.
They have made it all too apparent that if we let them they will continue to take progressive votes for granted.
Well not mine, from now on anyone that wants my vote better damn well work to earn it.
No more freebies from me...

Music and fun
but maybe some solace through humor, and something reasonably absurd …
New Zealand Celebrates Its First Pastafarian Wedding
The [Pastafarian] church – which was founded to satirise American religious fundamentalism – believes a god made of spaghetti and meatballs is just as likely as other gods. According to its website, its only dogma is “the rejection of dogma”

“With this rigatoni, I thee wed” …
The church claims that global warming is caused by pirates vanishing from the high seas, and that there is a beer volcano in heaven.

You're welcome
We do well when we can find a balance, despite the defeat. 'Sharing' and 'Uplifting' is a good start. And, thank you.
Ah, yes, well, we shall now resume business as usual
