Last night some Lee Harvey Nobody loaded up his shooing iron and took it to the White House. By a strange coincidence, this further proves the NEED for SECURITY at THE BALLROOM. Mister Nobody shot some number of rounds (nice gun geek vocabulary showing) and the Feds at the White House returned fire and smoked him.
Obviously, Trump and his cheerleaders will clutch their bodices and weep over the sad state of affairs where left wing rhetoric motivates losers to do crazy shit like storming the White House with hot lead.
Me, I think his family deserves a nice chunk of the Weaponization Fund.
More seriously, while I do enjoy watching Trump and his gang of Loud Mouths getting pushback from the mainstream talking heads, I do not relish the whooping up of a cheer for helping Ukraine rather than Israel.

Seriously, Trump is so absurd now, incredibly managing to make Term I look normal, I do not care how, but I am for whatever political/legal move that gets him out of the White House. But I do not kid myself about where that leaves us -- not dead. Nothing more

Yesterday I went to FedEx to send a package. The young woman asked me to tell her the address. I said (not real name), “Joe Smith, care of…” She was confused. Did I mean “Joe Care Smith or Joe Care of Smith or…?” After a bit of discussion, I asked had she never heard the term “care of”? She said “No, but I’m new here. I’ve only worked here six weeks.” I grumbled to myself about the lack of knowledge, and then realized, FedEx would never hire me for that job because she knows how to work computers better than I do. Anyway, Glen Diesen does excellent interviews, I agree.

I run into folks in their 30s and 40s who can't sell, know nothing of grammar and punctuation, and they can't spell. Ask one of them to add 5% to their amount on a bill or payment, and they have no idea how to do it. They do not know how to send mail certified, return receipt requested. They cannot write a check. These are high school graduates, some of whom have some jr. college classes under their belts. They impulse buy without price comparison's on everything. They cannot budget. They cannot do the math and grasp why there $1000 credit card debt costs $6500 to repay over time with minimum payments.

Just check writing and inability to understand interest rates and credit card minimum payments enslaves these purposely uneducated young people. I had an intern who was given a credit card with a $1000 limit as some high school grad promo. She paid $10,000 to reduce it to zero over a 6 or 7 yr period. She still, 10 years and 3 kids later can't figure out how it happened.

Something broke through in the past few days. My guess is that the slush fund and the Trump family federal tax immunity have hit intolerable buttons. On top of the stupid ballroom with its billion dollar government cost (before change orders, etc.) and $5 to $7/gallon gas.
Cassidy and Tillis might not go quietly into the night as Trump lacky losers. If the polls are correct, will Cornyn join the coalition? Never thought Cassidy or Cornyn had it in them. North Carolina will flip and if Paxton is the nominee, Texas could also flip. Collins (ME) is in trouble. Oddly Sullivan in AK is as well. Still an uphill fight for Sherrod Brown to retake an Ohio Senate seat. However, never underestimate the ability of the Democratic Party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Gas prices increasing by 50% or more
in a few weeks quickly gets everybody's attention. Trump's $1.6 billion slush fund does the same. In Low increases in Social Security and 75 year olds looking for jobs are easily overlooked by younger voters unless and until those issues become persistent over several election cycles. Billionaires not paying taxes still gets shrugs from a high percentage of voters. Trump giving himself and his family a pass on IRS audits is both immediately recognized and seen as outrageous and unacceptable.
The Epstein files are still a potent political issue because now more people understand what it is and recognize it as outrageous and unacceptable. As with Trump family taxes, nobody should get a pass for raping and trafficking women.
Young people with elderly grandparents

Many young folks make so little money, they do not have to file their tax returns, so there's that.
