What a cool looking tree trunk.
When I look at an elephants skin I think how much they would benefit from some skin moisture.

That is, except the one in Tanzania that seemed to want to ram the jeep we were in.
Still, the baby that wrapped it's trunk around my neck and gave me a kiss on the cheek was a love of my life. The one I rode was pretty damn sweet. Good elephant memories from my time in Thailand.
In S. Africa, we were informed that elephants love the fruit from the amarula trees. Well, I love the lacquer, Amarula.

I was going to title this thread A Pack of Derms edition but since pachyderms also includes rhinos and I was only posting images of elephants I decided to go with elly font instead.

and the twisted tree trunk. I'm glad I'm living at the same time the pachyderms are. They are remarkable and extremely intelligent animals. That tree trunk is very appropriate for its locale: a graveyard. ECFL is quiet right now, but who knows what the next few months will bring, especially when Storm Season begins. Anywho....Rec'd!!

Better late than never or as I look at it there's no such thing as being late to FNP. It's not like there will be no more food or beer left if your late. Hope you got all you system malfunctions under control. It just wouldn't feel like Monday without your Monday morning essay.
