Two headline grabbers today marks the 4 year anniversary of Russia
beginning the SMO to protect the RUS citizens of Eastern Ukraine. A
long, hard slog with no end in sight. Ze is demanding 90B Euros and
wants a nuclear bomb. Talk about delusion.
The second is the clown show known as the SOTU where the head of
state makes bombastic noises to congress and justice. If you looked
at it, please share your observations with us here. You should be
awarded some kind of medal.

Missed the Stupid Oration Trump Upchucked, intentionally, of course. Have a 10 am dentist appointment I had forgotten about and had not entered on my calendar; luckily my dentist's office texts appointment reminders.
Another day in our notoriously rogue nation. The Guardian doesn't say we attacked anybody overnight, So I guess that's a good thing. I haven't checked to see what team U.K.raine got up to overnight yet. One wonders if they or the US could legitimately invoke article 5 if the Rus punched back, given that they are parties to most of ukiestan's attacks. Not something I need to think about today, however. The biggie is that the SOTU is now behind us and the gropingfuhrer can now attack anybody he feels like for another year.
Not currently raining, stopped sometime before 6 am, so I can maybe get to some few outdoor projects. The Guardian did have a video entitled something like Trump's SOTU in 3 minutes - don't waste your time, 3 minutes of your life you will never get back, not at all amusing nor remotely truthful. He does spew some lies about Iran that indicate he is still ready and willing to attack them based on his utterly afactual worldview, so we are not out of that delusion yet. Could be today, tomorrow, or who knows when, but it is very much still on the table.

Regarding the State of the Union
I checked the MSN headlines this morning to see if there was a faux pas. Other than talking way too long -- what a shock! -- he apparently offered no new mendacity, just the Same O Same O bullum shittum from President Blowhard.
No headlines about Iran so no war for at least a few days. The brass hat cautionary leaks suggest that the Real Government is hip to the reality of being outgunned and terminal defeat is not what they want just yet.
The dems, on the other hand, have caught up with wrestling style messaging -- kayfabe.
They got their own Trump, warming up in the bull pen -- Steven A!

A day late...
Finally getting some rain today (Thurs). Had to go to B'ham yesterday to deal with some of my Mom's paperwork. Boy I hate driving in cities. However, I navigated successfully and made it home.
When will the Iran war begin? My bet is this weekend. God(dess) protect us all!

Went to PVD yesterday to have my brain picked apart.
The neuro-psyche docs didn't quite put it back together.
The roads have not yet been cleared there Thankfully, the
4WD was able to navigate the mess. The roads out here
in the sticks are clear. The driveways, not so much. About
3" of ice on top of snow pack makes traction a bit iffy.
