Friday Night Photos Flower Power Edition

Happy Friday everyone. Welcome to Friday Night Photos your once a week escape from the day to day insanity of the world we live in. Post any photos, memes, music or whatever else you find of interest that helps tune out the madness.
We had a mild Santa Ana the last three days. Temps were in the high 80s to low 90s with humidity in the teens. Things are back to normal today, 70° and 51% humidity. Slight chance of rain in the forecast for the middle of next week.
I haven't posted any flowers since last July and with much of the country dealing with the cold and snow I thought some flowers were in order to help brighten things up.

I am guilty of causing the confusion. I should have included
"had posted" in my comment. I live in an area where dandelions thrive.
Are there places where dandelions don't survive ; ).
I remember reading decades ago that what will survive when everything else fails are ants and dandelions. It makes sense to me.

I love the simplicity and beauty of Dandelions. I find them especially beautiful in their flower seed state, as I'm sure most others do as well. Thank you for your weekly contributions here and elsewhere on the site.

Thank you for the beauty of roses. My favourite is the yellow rose in the middle of the sequence. I love the light and colour, and how delicately defined the full petals are. I also associate it with memories of how much I've enjoyed the scent of yellow roses.

Getting the exposure right
is so instrumental when it comes to photographing, which I always appreciate in your work. There's nothing like light when it comes to photography.
This week, with the help of my neighbour, I will deliver a big part of my photography books and old film to the local HS, which is one of the few in NZ who still teach analogue photography, and have a well functioning darkroom. It makes me happy to know it will be appreciated by teachers and students. It also feels good to downsize!
Film may be old school
but it's good to know it hasn't gone the way of the Doo Doo. Glad you found a home for your work.
