It is up to about a dozen forlorn emails to "me" from the Republicans whose outreach program has mistaken me for MAGA stalwart. I posted most of these missives here because I find their Hijinx to be risible.
The latest one shows a change in tone, from nervous insecurity to panic:

Someone receiving such emails might want to ask how does a 40 whatever it was day vacation help the cause? My Democratic representative refused to accept his salary until federal workers got theirs. Someone like to remind me how many of the Rs did the same?
My congressman, John Bannion, is neither woke nor progressive, but he does appear to have a conscience.

not get rid of the ACA subsidies, or not cut enormous sums from the SNAP budget, or not sit there with their fingers in their noses while DOGE made government stupider all the way down to weather prediction and air traffic control, or not sell out to AIPAC and impose the stamp of genocide on everyone's heads, or turn ICE into an updated Gestapo, or cover for a child molester like Epstein, or something like that.
It's amusing that their sales pitch says nothing about what they're actually doing. Why do we have institutions anyway? If the rule of law makes Donald Trump feel butthurt, why should we bother with it?

My suspicion is that the powers that pull all the strings
are using Trumps' absurdity to move their long term scheme along, which includes no more American Empire. We are being intentionally bankrupted to make way for the Global Empire. Trump's bizarre act fits the game plan perfectly. Huffy lunacy, pretending to Make America Great.
Actual politics abolished, replaced by a perpetual feud between red and blue method actors arguing over who gets to be the Boss of Terminal Chaos.
