Afternoon folks!
This week finishes off my collection of the American Folk Blues Festival recordings, I am pretty sure that's all of them that were made and commercially distributed. It's an excellent series that features quite an array of blues musicians. Also this week, from the diversity department is an interesting live album from Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men worth checking out.
Enjoy the tunes and have a great weekend!

glad that you enjoyed the folk blues festival series, it's a lot to take in.
dave alvin is an under-appreciated musician, he was one of the founding members of the blasters and has also performed with x and the knitters as well as on his own over the years. he's fully conversant in pretty much all genres of american roots music and is worth seeking out live or for his recordings.
have a good one!
You have an incredible collection!
Thanks for sharing these every week!
