Afternoon folks!
This week we've got one great harmonica player and two great guitarists for you. Starting off we've got Harmonica George Smith fronting the band Bacon Fat in the early 1970's. After that we have guitar wizard Roy Buchanan's early recordings before he was a famous unknown. Finishing up we've got a mid '80's solo album from Richard Thompson an interesting and inventive guitarist.
Enjoy the music and have a great weekend!
Here 'tis:
George Smith ~ No Time For Jive
Roy Buchanan ~ The Early Years

great Roy!
Hi Joe,
Thanks for the outstanding Roy disc!
What a great collection of his early work. Any ideas on what years these were from? Sounds fairly early half of the 60's? thanks for this!

i'm not positive because the liner notes are poor, but a cursory inspection seems to suggest that all of the cuts were recorded between 1958 and 1962. there may be some outliers that were not covered in the liner notes, though.
have a good one!
