OT WE 2 APR 25 ~ strange behavior

Working on a theory from secondary experience. Has anyone else out there noticed a change in behavior with
adults lately? Could be just me. Those I notice seem to cross the spectrum barrier into that scary autistic mode. Curious as to the causes for this.
I find no studies out there to document things like this. Distortion of facial features, obsession
with trite details demanding an immediate response and the like. You may have witnessed some of this.
Presenting as a mental health issue. Synthetic debris or psychic bombardment?

Anyway, this is an open thread, so post whatever strikes you. What in hell is going on?

Top of the day
Hope y'all survived another fools day kindly. Today is being hailed by the
Trump team as "Liberation Day" with an announcement of tariffs. Have my
doubts as to who or what is being liberated. Money and corporations?
At least they are letting POTUS out of the Oval Office to play in the Rose
Garden.

Perhaps microplastics in the brain is the culprit?
Apparently, microplastics in the environment have found a way (breathing? Eating?) into our brain. Likewise lipid nao-particles, and their payloads, can pass through the “blood-brain” barrier. A tablespoon or more in your brain box would surely have some effect on synapse functionality.
Another, more ethereal, possibility could be our planet’s relationship to solar and cosmic energy fluctuations. It is often referred to as “space weather”.
Closer to home, social conditioning (aka brainwashing) can have profound effects, including actual physical damage to our hippocampus with dysfunctional sleep patterns and memory loss. Michael Nehls’s “The Indoctrinated Brain” goes into this chilling possibility in great detail.
We are surely living in interesting times!

Good morning...
RFK suggests rising autism is a function of diet and the vaccine schedule. I think it was Dr. Mark Hyman who suggests the increase in c-section birth also plays a role. The biota in the birth canal is thought to be important in establishing a healthy gut biota, which plays out in our mental health. I suspect all those things and more play a role in our declining mental health. I also think our lack of being in nature contributes.
I need to prune the muscadines today. Always something.
Take care and thanks for the OT!

the song
Hi all, Hey Capt.!
Thanks for the OT... here is the official song for cosmic debris...
How do we determine which issues we are seeing in people are from the glyphosate, the micro-plastics, or the forever chemicals in everyone now. How has growing up with these likely endocrine system disrupters played a role in the explosion of sexual dysmorphia we see now? Perhaps the older show effects mostly in the brain?
I fear it is like covid vax damage. Much is hidden the multiple times the vaxxed went out and contracted covid.
They are looking for the answers just like finding the Nordstream terrorists.
Edit to add: We also cannot disregard the 'Raised on Ritilin' (and dog knows what else) effects.
happy trails all!
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

I think
that our Owners believe that it is a good idea to keep us all teetering on the verge of a psychotic break at all times, to keep us herdable.
I also think that they are mistaken. I now have come to believe that the only possible outcome of our current course is large scale violence, which will be met with overwhelming force by the state. That will then kick off an inevitable civil war. The civil war will not be for control of the country- it will be for the sheer animal joy of killing people who might have offended us at some point, while the Owners sit back and thank us for voluntarily reducing our numbers for them.
We've been living with the glorification and normalization of violence in our everyday lives for decades now, and what little prefabricated news we get from our many war zones shows us more and more unspeakable acts every day. The unspeakable has become the mundane, and we now see the consequences of having fully embraced the banality of evil.
I had a person attempt to kill me with their car while on the way to work today. They ran a red light to do it, and flipped me off while doing so, for having the temerity to have the right-of-way as they sped off to do Important Things. Had I not seen them coming and locked my brakes up, they'd have centerpunched me in the driver's side door, at a speed of ~50mph. I doubt that I would have survived it. These brushes with insanity are happening more and more often- all symptoms of the same disease.
Perhaps it is microplastics, perhaps it is forever chemicals, perhaps it is something else. I frankly believe that it is because, in the current world, only the biggest assholes win. And everybody wants to be the winner, here in in america. As a result, we are becoming a population of utter and irredeemable (and heavily armed) assholes.

ufs, road ragers, they are out there.
Glad you have good brakes and are safe and sound, friend.

I can simply slow down, turn off, whatever, and they are gone. Also they can't run into me.
Good morning, QMS!
I see more and more craziness in family law cases and probate cases than in the last 40 years of my practice. I have reached the point that if I find that my prospective client raises Great Danes or large boutique German Shepherds, or pigs, I decline the case.
Let's see how long it takes for everyone to figure out my reason.
Is it plastics, metals, or a society that is so degraded that all remnants of sanity are just no longer cool?
Thanks for the oT, dear friend!

Very interesting link, Capt
Thanks for the OT.
I would pose increasing poverty could account for all kinds of disfunction.
I have noticed with each recession an increase in crime, expecially robbery, and theft.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
Perhaps not increasing poverty, but
reduced standard of living and more financial insecurity for a higher percentage of the US population. Not cognitively articulated by those that have been impacted because its all sort of fuzzy; thus, it's experienced at an emotional/behavioral level.
Good morning Cap'n Q. Not sure what symptoms and symptom
clusters I can associate with anything but lead is a likely factor. Lead was extremely common in goods, the environment, food, water and all that until pretty damn recently. Different levels of exposure are associated with all kinds of shit, adhd, irritability, aggressive tendencies and anti-social behavior, and on and on and on. Combine that with the various cultural issues and the direct and indirect effects of the various propaganda sources and it could account for much. How did we become such a highly uncivil society, so profoundly self-centered and vicious (and tribally so)? Lead can be inplicated in much of that and most US generations from the boomers on were literally drenched with the shit.
Halocarbons, especially assorted organochlorines and such with usage and exposure similarly ramped up from the late forties through today.
Constant promotion and normalization of violence and the campaigns of incessant fer mongering against a backdrop of irrationality and chaos makes it a trifecta.
be well and have a good one

Thanks folks for weighing in on this issue
.
It is not difficult to find possible reasons for the broken mind.
Chemical, societal, psychological or biological. Even programing,
mistrust, aggression and isolation may enter into the formulae.
Since the origins and causes cover a wide array of influence,
there appear to be no 'one size fits all' solutions. Be careful out there.

Fairly high tariffs and for pretty much the whole world
I think Trump is intent on using them as leverage for anything else he wants to do.
I'm ok with tariffs but it seems like he's operating without being thoughtful at all, same with DOGE. Deportations have been lots of noise, few deportations, no E verify.
A probable contributing factor was the double whammy
of Y2K (millennial hysteria whipped up for a decade or so beforehand) followed less than two years later by 9/11.
I thought, in early 2000, that it would be a decade or so before sanity returned...but 9/11 pushed the guesstimate out to at least 50 years. Which means that I won't see a return of sanity in what remains of my lifetime.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
