Album of the Week 2-15-25
Submitted by joe shikspack on Sat, 02/15/2025 - 3:00pm
Afternoon folks!
This week we kick off with a collection of Otis Spann mostly solo pieces, followed by a compilation with a bunch of B.B. King and Bobby Blue Band along with some other classic blues tunes. After that, we're off to blues rock territory with The Band's second album followed by an album from Fleetwood Mac's first bass player Bob Brunning and his band along with some appearances by Peter Green. Following that is an album from slide guitar monster, Bob Brozman and we finish up with some California country rock by Poco to mellow you out.
Enjoy the tunes and have a great weekend!

Hi joe
After B.B, Bobby Bland and friends, and The Brunning Sunflower Band, it’ll take more than Poco to mellow me out ; )
Thanks joe!

Bob Brozman
Hi Joe,
Amazing Bob Brozman album... What a player he was... crazy good. Amazing.
Thanks for the great sounds!
