I agree with Sarah that some of the cops were Mossad I thought that before she said it. I’m sure the crackdowns everywhere are on Israel’s orders. Look at how quickly they got congress to act against students.

i watched the first video. so, it appears that the uk has gone down the tubes and reverted to the sort of behaviors that caused our founding generation to rebel and separate from the crown.

i wouldn't care to speculate at this point how long our first amendment will hold up. after all, "it's just a damned piece of paper."

What’s old has become new again. I’ve been watching Sleepy Hollow that has a lot of scenes of the founders putting the construction together and I can’t believe how our government has turned its back on it.

A Berkeley dean suggests that the construction is outdated and needs to be torn up.
It’s not outdated yet fool, it’s being ignored.
Too many shitlibs don’t value our rights. How did we get here?

well, the constitution isn't perfect and i've often thought that given a month and some peace and quiet, i could do better, but the great ideas that underlie and inform the constitution would remain when i was done.

Too many shitlibs don’t value our rights. How did we get here?

other people having rights sometimes get in the way of shitlibs desires. not that it makes them much different from neocons whose disrespect for the rights of others is immense.

Today Israel added much more conditions to it including parking its buttocks in Gaza for years and overseeing humanitarian aid and the reconstruction acting like it’s not responsible for the destruction and withholding aid. They will move the injured outside Palestine….what are they chances they won’t be allowed back in?

The warrant was issued at the request of authorities who accuse González, a former diplomat, of various crimes including conspiracy, falsifying documents and usurpation of powers. The move is the latest escalation of repression against the opposition in the month after election officials declared President Nicolás Maduro had won a third six-year term in office.

Authorities sought the warrant after González failed to appear three times to answer questions from prosecutors. González, 75, has not made any public appearances since the day after the election. His campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press.

Prosecutors have zeroed in on thousands of tally sheets known as actas — printouts measuring several feet that resemble shopping receipts — that have long been considered the ultimate proof of election results in Venezuela. Each of the 30,000 electronic voting machines used in the July 28 election printed several copies of the sheets, whose information was also transmitted to the National Electoral Council.

Ruling party-loyal electoral authorities declared Maduro the victor hours after polls closed, but they did not publish results broken down by voting machine as they had done in previous presidential elections. The National Electoral Council claimed it could not release the detailed information because its website was hacked
