Friday Night Photos Leftovers Edition

Happy Friday everyone. I hope everybody is doing well. Post any photos, meme's or music that trips your trigger.

Temps have been down all week. It's been in the low 30s most mornings and highs in the low 60s. We also had a little bit of rain yesterday morning. The price of gas has held steady for the last few weeks at $4.60 a gal. and groceries are still expensive as hell.

I didn't get out with the camera this week so here are some leftovers from last year and late 2022.

You can serve leftovers whenever you like. Great trusty Fido portrait, the beautifully lit feathers, and the sun-saturated sunset.

Here, it's burning hot, and if you can't be in the water you have to be in the shade. From the beach on a late afternoon this week.

The pink is the soft needle-like Pohutakawa blossoms fallen from the tree above it.

Small seaweed stuck on very low reef ...

Have a good weekend all and be well

Right about now I'd love to have some of your burning hot weather. Beautiful beach art. I love the flow of the colors and patterns in the first shot.

I woke up this morning determined to drink less, eat right, and exercise.
But that was four hours ago when I was younger and full of hope.

@Socialprogressive

I'd love to send you some of the heat. Wouldn't it be nice if we climate sensitive ones could move from place to place, depending on season, comfortably. I think about how the ancients did it, moving from mountains to sea depending on the climate and food source. I wonder if we should complain considering that fact?

Enjoy your indoor activities

Great selections.
Wanted to get a shot of this little tree stuck in a rowboat on a pond near here, but
shot the shop instead. This is a shattered door, a snow plow job on the mailbox and a
base cabinet carcass(vanity) on the bench.

@QMS

Quite eerie and interesting images, thanks. Also, interesting shop work you do.

I wouldn't mind at the moment to lie in the snow like the mailbox for a few moments to cool off.

Cheers

@QMS
I'm guessing mailboxes getting cut down in the prime of their lives by a snowplow happens often after a big snow fall. Love the music selection. The public airwaves needs more music like that.

@QMS That cover artwork for your good tune pic mirrors one of my fave Biblical quotes. Peace will come to the World/When the Lion lies down with the Lamb. I'm paraphrasing. Very good pics, too. Smile

Hi all, Hey SP!

Hope all is well out there!

Outstanding photos as always SP! Looks like one of those stocked Rainbow Trout the Great Blue Heron has?

We have about three days starting Sunday we'll be lucky to see it break freezing, lows in low teens.

Great pics Janis and QMS too!

I gotta fly but here is a quick something...

Tree limbs can really mess up an otherwise good bird photo. Love your title for the last shot. Throw another log on the fire and stay warm.

red rose is simply Killer!! All the photos are most excellent as usual. The Sandbar Peninsula is bracing for the Arctic blast early next week. Upper 30s here. Panhandle could get a hard freeze. Not good up north as frigid temps plus wet conditions equal ice. Big bummer. Sad Like the interesting tunes, too. Rec'd!! Smile

I saw where the NE states got hit with a big storm the last few days. Not my idea of fun. Stay warm and dry on the sandbar.
