What new absurdity is this?

Too often now, the only people and political voices I see standing up for what I always thought of as basic founding principles of liberty, decency, human dignity, and civilization are … the ones getting deplatformed, silenced, bullied, and denounced as “deplorables”, racists, sexists, xenophobes, neo-Nazis, and oh! the horror! Trumpers or, in Europe, right-wing populists?!

Ana Kasparian of TYT (Cenk Uygur’s “The Young Turks” media franchise) is now being attacked for saying she is proud to be, and wants to be referred to as, a “woman” (i.e. not a “birthing person” or any of the supposedly in-vogue “trans-inclusive” euphemisms). She’s had her feuds with Jimmy Dore of The Jimmy Dore Show — but after having “progressives” turn on her this way, she may well be thinking to herself that Jimmy was/is right about a lot of things?
