Axe me of the time I sent the crew on home xmas eve so's they could be with their
families. Had none of my own and someone had to keep the tug running. A can of
sardines and some crackers was all I needed. Think they appreciated the gesture.
Turned into 3 days, but that's alright now. Opened up the crabmeat.
Mr. Redbone is pretty cool too!

Thanks Joe and bon ton roulette!

festive period.

Congress deserves to be ridiculed after their recent actions.

https://thehill.com/homenews/media/3786532-tucker-carlson-lawmakers-appl...

Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday mocked lawmakers who applauded Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech before a joint session of Congress, claiming they clapped “like seals.”

“Almost every person in the room clapped like a seal,” Carlson said on his nightly show. “So no matter what that man said — Send me more money; I command you, send me more money; we’re taking care of it the most responsible ways — they applaud, all of them, almost like they have to.”

I agree with most but not all that he said in the video.

Happy Holidays, Joe and thanks for keeping us informed again this year. I think I missed the news and blues and the weekly watch the most when we were offline and didn’t think I’d have the chance to thank you.

Furthering yesterday’s meme.

Hey Bojo maybe you shouldn’t have derailed the peace deal that Ukraine was gonna sign to end the war?

Or maybe people will think that their neighbors have turned out their lights in solidarity instead because they can’t afford to pay their light bill.

Smile

Pot and kettle comes to mind. How many decades has America armed the various terrorist groups that we use to fight our battles for us? Kirby should buy a fcking mirror.

North Korea arming Russian paramilitary fighters accused of war crimes in Ukraine: US

The US government on Thursday accused North Korea of selling “rockets and missiles” to the Wagner Group, the bloodthirsty paramilitary unit accused of committing war crimes in Ukraine.

Kirby accused North Korean tyrant Kim Jong Un of failing to be honest about his country’s role in the 301-day-old Ukraine war, which has drained Russia of military supplies due to surprisingly effective resistance by the NATO-armed Ukrainian government.

“North Korean officials have said publicly that they would not support Russia’s war in Ukraine — and yet here they are delivering arms to Wagner, in direct violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions,” the spokesman said.

“We are going to raise these violations with the Security Council alongside our allies and partners and of course we condemn North Korea’s actions and we urge North Korea to cease these deliveries to Wagner immediately.”

I found this website yesterday and I’ve been having fun browsing it. This guy has a wicked sense of humor. There are no Nazis in Ukraine!

America’s Favorite Fascist

So, a few days back, a follower on Mastodon (spit) posted this article from the Union Of Orthodox Journalists from May 2018, about a Ukrainian postage stamp series honoring great thugs — uhh, soldiers — of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician) on its 75th anniversary. Yeah, that’s right, Ukraine fought proudly on the fascist side, and venerates these filthy bastards to this day.

If you’re going to #StandWithUkraine that’s your business, but at least take a good, steamy gawk at what you’re standing with and own it.

Opening Bell

EE7CA34F-ABAC-4C0E-B5A8-DCA35D1034BC.jpeg

I’ve seen some pretty goddamn unctous fotos in the news in my time, but none quite as revulsive lately as this tableau featuring US stooge and Neo-Nazi Volodymyr Zelensky “virtually” ringing the opening bell via remote video link at the New York Stock Exchange — and none quite as apropos, given that shares in US “defense” industries are hitting the stratosphere, and Ford and IBM’s infamous collaboration with the Nazis.

Ford not only built trucks and whatnot for Hitler, but they also wanted to use prisoners in the camp for slave labor. Ewww….

Spot on!

Bone Deep

1934FCF1-24DF-41CD-A664-D2FE238C0027.jpeg

“You don’t need to be a Jew to be a Zionist,” said Biden in his opening remarks. “The connection between the Israeli and American people is bone deep… I am proud to say that US relations with Israel are deeper and stronger than they have ever been.”

- Joe Biden

“Bone deep”? …as opposed to the connection between the Ukrainian and American people, which is more “skin deep”, I’m guessing…?

Yeah, the sonofabitch said our connection to filthy, murdering Israel is “bone deep”.
He’s actually more or less right, y’know.

Check out his other work. I hope more people start seeing it.

Hope you all have a great holiday. Sam and I stocked up on some great foods and wine. I gotta limit her wine intake because I can’t tolerate her being any goofier than she already is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Flugennock

Mike Flugennock (born Michael Swartzbeck;[1] March 1957)[2] is a political cartoonist from Washington, D.C.

Since the early 1990s, Flugennock's political posters have been pasted across Washington D.C.[1] His work is known for its universal criticism of politicians and other government figures of both main parties. During the Clinton era, most of his posters were critical of President Bill Clinton's military actions, and policies such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Communications Decency Act, and the Defense of Marriage Act and later President George W. Bush for his domestic and foreign policies. Of the Democratic Party, he believes it is unable to provide a true, progressive alternative to the Republican party. Since the 2006 mid-term elections, he has been more critical of the Democrats, particularly Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Check out his other work. I’m on page 4.

Here’s one that is off color. Zelensky plays the piano without his hands.

I’ve seen lots of comments referring to this, but hadn’t seen it. Have you seen the one of his dancing in tight leather? Should I find it for you? I did. You all can choose not to click on it.

Not just for the big guy. I’m betting that all of congress gets a cut from the billions being sent to Ukraine. Just read that AOC is now worth $29 million. I bet she passes Pelosi’s $120 million if she stays in congress for as long as Pelosi has.

and now he’s putting older men in the war and apparently without a thought of what it’s doing to his country. After all is said and done hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians will have died for no reason. I posted a few days ago an essay by a Canadian mercenary who admitted that some troops are thrown at the Russians just so another group can attack from a different direction. I’ve seen some battles on Telegram where just a few troops are fighting and dying.

Now the Ukraine general wants more severe punishments for those who don’t fight with all they have and other videos of men being marched into the woods and executed. We are sending Ukraine money to keep Ukrainian troops from suffering PTSD so they can fight better.

Pelosi was the head cheerleader for congress to let them know when they should applaud and stand up for Zelensky. It was all theater and I’m betting he came here to manufacture consent for us entering the war. McConnell says that his top priority is for Ukraine. Makes sense since they got tens of billions whilst we the people got so little of the trillions just passed. The shitlibs actually cheered this year’s budget and nary a peep for the military budget either.

@snoopydawg

Back in April, when Boris Johnson made it clear to Zelenski that the U.S. would not support any peace agreement with Russia, he may well have thought of Diem's fate. He decided to ditch the ongoing negotiations and to commit his country to the suicidal quest of beating the Russian army.

Accordingly Zelenski's "epic piece of theater" was "designed" to keep him alive and to fill his bank account plus those of the owners of the U.S. war industry.

Everything else be damned.

Zelensky knows that if he stops backing the war he will either be overthrown or killed. And why not we already coup'd Ukraine’s president once already. Biden has said that he has sent troops into Ukraine already under the guise of seeing where the weapons are going.

Lindsay Graham has once again called for Putin to be assassinated. Imagine the outrage if Putin called for Biden to be killed. SMDH

ETA context.

While I am sure Zelensky is flattered to be described as a modern day Churchill, he was not the first accorded that honor. Did you know that Ngo Dinh Diem also was the Vietnamese Winston Churchill?

In May 1961, U.S. Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson visited Saigon and enthusiastically declared Diệm the “Winston Churchill of Asia”. Asked why he had made the comment, Johnson replied, “Diệm’s the only boy we got out there.” Johnson assured Diệm of more aid in molding a fighting force that could resist the communists.

Diem learned the hard way that once your U.S. backers anoint you as the next Churchill, your days are numbered. Diem was murdered as a consequence of a U.S. engineered coup.

Zelensky? I challenge anyone to recite one memorable moment from Zelensky’s snooze fest before the U.S. Congress. Banality thy name is Volodomyr. But Zelensky can do something that Churchill never did — he can play the piano with his penis. Gives new meaning to the phrase, “banging out a tune.”

Zinger! Smile

as being a very flattering reflection on the status of the us congress
on the world stage - what a bunch of dummies most would say

killing in the name of corporate profit is not exactly something
to be proud of, and yet the jackals posture to this stupidity

no problem with nazis, killing ukies and torturing citizens of the
EU. what kind of sordid game plan is this?

I heard that Ukraine doesn’t collect its dead or tell the family that James won’t be coming home. That way they don’t have to pay death benefits. Who knows if it’s true or not? But Zelensky doesn’t seem to care much for his people and if b is right I can understand why. Zelensky wants to live long enough to enjoy the millions he has stashed away and his many mansions. Remember that the Panama papers named him as one who was being naughty with his money. Ukraine was the most corrupt country in the world until they started fighting for freedom and democracy. Banning the opposition party is a funny way to have a democracy IMO.

Russia didn’t have kind words to say about Zelensky going in front of congress. Lots of democrat sychopants are upset about republicans not fellating Zelensky like democrats did.

Hi Joe,

Nice mix of tunes tonight, many thanks. I'm adding one I discovered not too long ago.

It's -2, feels like -26 as the wind is gusting 22-41 mph where I live. I hope those affected by Elliott will stay safe and relatively warm. We could all use a respite of peace but the budget passed today indicates we'd rather be in the war business.

Cheers anyway!

Well, I’ll be goddamned. I thought she’d never die. I figured she’d made a deal with Satan — or was it Henry Kissinger? It’s hard to tell these days.

The news bulletin didn’t say exactly how she died, though I suspect some dippy chick from Kansas accidentally dumped a bucket of water on her shriveled-up old ass. According to her bio, she was 84, though to be quite honest, I don’t think the old battle-axe looked a day over 200.

She said that the deaths of half a million Iraqis — at least half of them children — from US economic warfare was “worth it”.

She said in 2016 that there was “a special place in Hell” for voters who wouldn’t support Hillary Clinton.

Bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha haahhh, yeah. Special place in Hell? Suits me fine. I’ll see ya’ down there, BEYOTCH.
