the concert last night with elvis costello, nick lowe and los straightjackets was excellent, thanks!

tonight and the next few days i'm out on a mission to pick up a car for my kid and taking a driving tour through the south.

i'll see you all next week sometime. in the meanwhile - i'm posting music eb's for next week, so news will be on a "bring your own" basis.

I came to post it and saw that you already had. I’ve read other accounts like that since the war started and I find it sad and disgusting. Seems that Ukraine is sacrificing men for no reason. The guy quoted in the essay says that people in the Ukraine government voted themselves a 70% raise because we’re pouring billions into Ukraine and gawd only knows where the money is going. Same with the weapons that CBS reported that only 30% of them make it to the front line. And Russia is reporting that the Ukraine Nazis killed 100 of their troops who didn’t want to fight to make an example for those thinking of deserting.

@on the cusp Erdogan did just enough to make NATO think he meant well, and too little to diminish Putin's trust in him. A nice political ploy.
