Diversifying

open thread_16.jpg

Lot of talk out there about the coming collapse of the dollar.
From the multitude of sources I peruse, it seems evident the dollar as a reserve currency is on its way out. Our ruling cabal has overplayed it hand and has been caught dealing from the bottom of the deck. More and more countries are unloading their U.S. Treasuries notes and using their own currencies for exchanges in trade. They sense a change in the air with the dollar being weaponized and used around the world as a club to bend governments to follow orders, more commonly known as "The Rules Based Order".
I've noted here before my savings account at a local credit union eking out a whole 14 cents a month for a $3000 balance in interest earnings.
Whoopee, $1.78 a year which the IRS could penalize me for failing to declare on my tax return. And probably seize my entire $3000.
We are captive population in more ways than you can imagine.
So if the rest of the world is unloading their greenbacks, shouldn't we also? Keeping your savings in a bank or CU is a losing proposition, they just lend it out at 10-20% interest and make out like bandits. Did I just say bandits? Oops. I mean profiting by "The Rules Based Order".
So diversifying your "wealth", meager as it may be, becomes a requisite to remain a Haves in a population of Have-nots. Changing your greenbacks into useful barter items such as ammo, hard liquor, Tide laundry detergent, non-perishable food, motor oils, etc. may seem over the top. But they remain units of value and can always be either bartered away or used yourself.
Gold and silver is another option, but the prices are manipulated by the big banks and the uber wealthy and many of us cannot afford to invest a lot in it. An exception is, maybe, pre-1964 silver coins.
Farmable land is what the big boys (Gates, Soros, Cargill, Monsanto, etc.) are stocking up on. It may wind up being more valuable than even gold. You might say farmable land, reliable well water, and seeds is becoming the new gold standard.
I'm open to new ideas,
Anyone have any? The thread is open.

Under lock and key. All distilled spirits, should age well.
I've seen on the news reports of thefts of boxes of Tide and resold at street marts and garage sales. Everybody needs laundry soap. I keep 5-6 boxes (105 loads each) stashed away. Never goes bad.

go to seed and planted them the following season with success.
I tried beans this year and none come up.
Probably the foul weather. But could have something to do with inoculating with packets of microbes you can buy.
Most beans are inoculated at the seed company.
Dunno. Will try again next year.

The U.S. has assessed that Ukraine did not attack a prison in a Russian-occupied eastern region of Donetsk with American-made rocket launchers last week, directly contradicting Russian claims, according to two U.S. officials.

Kyiv and Moscow have traded blame over Thursday’s attack, which reportedly killed 53 Ukrainian prisoners of war and wounded 75 more. The POWs include soldiers captured after the fall of Mariupol, the city where troops famously held out for months against a fierce Russian offensive.

The Ukrainian military accused Russia of destroying the prison in Russian-controlled Olenivka to cover up alleged torture and execution of the prisoners there. But Russia claims Ukraine’s military used the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and precision-guided rockets to strike the site themselves to deter defectors.

However, no traces of the U.S.-provided weapons were found at the site, according to two U.S. officials with knowledge of the assessment, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive topic.

“We know Ukraine didn’t attack the site with HIMARS because the site doesn’t have the indications it would have if it was hit with HIMARS,” one of the officials said.

While one of the officials stopped short of saying Ukraine was not responsible for the strike, the other official said the evidence showed the attack was not conducted by Kyiv. Satellite photos of the site released by Maxar Technologies on July 30 appear to show damage only to the section of the detention center housing Ukrainian prisoners, with no collateral damage to surrounding buildings.

...a complaint with the UN on the day it happened and requested an investigation. IS this the UN investigation result?

Since this was a deliberate precision attack, we can only analyze the means and motive of Russia and Ukraine. We must rely on third party scientists to find the chemical signatures in the explosion. Unfortunately, these same scientists lied in their investigations of the false flag attacks in Syria, so the scientific results can carry only so much weight.

This reminds me very much of the so-called BUK missile attack that brought down flight MH-17 over Ukraine in 2015. The circumstances are identical — the fact that both happened in Ukraine is a complete coincidence. In the BUK missile case, the third party was the Dutch, and they made conclusions that did not match the evidence. There has been an ongoing effort to reopen that investigation. In the current case, I've read that, so far, the UN and the Red Cross have not been allowed to enter Ukraine and access the prison.

The Presumed Ukrainian motive in the BUK case was to escalate the 'war' and pull in allied forces and NATO to fight against the ethnic Russian population on the formerly Russian lands of the Donbas (as a proxy for Russia). To this day, there is no evidence that a Russian invasion ever took place. There was no presumed motive for Russia to shoot down a passenger jet. They had nothing to gain.

In the current Prison bombing, a Russian motive has been pre-speculated: Russia wanted to hide evidence of torture by blowing up the prison. It's not clear that this would have hidden such evidence from forensic investigators. As for the Ukrainians, the presumed motive would be the same as it was in the BUK attack: [To escalate the war and pull in Western allied forces or NATO against the Russian Army — and to weaken support for the ethnic Russian population in Donbas.]

Until then, I maintain the opposite view of whatever BS Bellingcat tries to sell. Over the years, the opposing view has always proved to be the correct one.

If a precision strike to forestall potential problems was called for, perhaps the services of certain Ukraine-connected alphabet agencies were called on?

And may have had the specific goal of eliminating high-value prisoners whose trials could prove embarrassing. Those captured at Mariupol included very high-ranking members of the Azov battalion - which had its HQ near Mariupol and a notorious record of human rights abuses going back years. Testimony about where their training and support was coming from might not synch too well with the Official Narrative.

Would be interesting to know whether/to what extent such were among the dead. Such prisoners would be valuable assets to the Russians - that they'd have every incentive to preserve (at least until conclusion of some very open and well-publicized trials).

As usual, the official narrative makes little sense, which, apparently, is no obstacle at all to getting most info-consumers to believe it...

...had not yet occurred to me. It is a much more sinister point-of-view, to be sure, but it does complete all the possibilities: It was done by Ukraine, Russia, or an interested Third Party.

This is certainly an increasingly familiar scenario in our world. Indeed, it was the failure to investigate the self-interest of third-party actors that made the JFK investigation so unsatisfactory, and it was a key flaw in the Mueller Investigation. There was even a uninvestigated hint of third party motives in the Malaysia Airline vs. the BUK missile shootdown.
.
The motive speculation that Russia bombed the prison to cover-up evidence of war crimes strikes me as weak and naive. Neither the US, nor Russia, would fear being accused of atrocities in war. The US doesn't answer to any International law enforcement body and has even threatened and sanctioned the International Court for hinting at a potential investigation. The W.H.O. is still trying to complete its investigation into the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which needs to continue in the bio-labs at Fort Detrick in the US — and the US is having none of it. The Pentagon's secret bio-labs in Ukraine and Odyessa were also on W.H.O.'s investigation schedule, but that may be moot, now.

It's amazing how Ukraine plays a small but ubiquitous role in all the major US political scandals of the past decade, not to mention the Biden money laundering affair and in the third-party election meddling of 2016.

Ukraine seems to be the Forrest Gump of Geopolitics.

hawkish "buy merkan". Back in the days of yore, the US and NATO and assorted hangers on tried to isolate the USSR and, among other things, saw to it that the Ruble was worth very little internationally. So Russkies couldn't buy much wonderbread, but they could buy local products. No fords or caddies, but, again, there were local products. When the ROW (Rest of World - a most useful acronym) economically isolates the US, the dollar could become one of those primarily internal mediums of exchange like the old time Ruble and Yuan/Renmibi. It doesn't seem like such a great time to rush to acquire Euro's and the US government could, at any minute, block the Ruble, Yuan, and even Peso or anything else.

As a domestic currency, the Dollar is as valid as any other domestic currency in the world. If the US continues to pay its debts, the Forex will value it fairly against other currencies.

I don't think the Dollar is being isolated so much as the world is simply moving on to a better system and a different reserve currency. In modern history, there have been perhaps six national currencies that were used globally, at different times, for trade. Each reserve currency lasted from 70 to 90 years, until a different one was chosen. It is an extraordinary privilege for a nation to provide the global reserve currency. There can also be many financial advantages. The US, for example, was able to export its domestic inflation to poorer nations by having reserve currency status.

In the 21st century, however, it would be absurd to use a domestic currency like the Dollar or the Euro as a Global Reserve Currency. There is too much competition, greed, self-interest, and nationalism between nations. Using one nation's currency would soon turn that nation into a monster — one that could seize and freeze any rival's trading currency reserves — and starve that country to death. Going forward, a synthetic trading currency will be used exclusively for International trade, and not a national currency. The public will have no contact with the trading currency, which will managed by international settlement banks.

Every month, the US creates billions of dollars and destroys billions of dollars in its money supply. When the US economy grows and its assets increase in value, the Federal Reserve will increases the total number of Dollars in the US economy. When Dollars come home from foreign holders, the Federal Reserve must exchange them for whatever currency is demanded, in equal value. As long as the US continues to redeems it returning Dollars, the Domestic economy will remain stable. If the US printed too many dollars, it may have to liquidate national assets to maintain economic stability.

It's my view that when the US started to produce so much excess money that multi-Billionaires were breaking out everywhere — while at the same time the people's economic wellbeing was being degraded — it was a signal that the US domestic economy was sick and unbalanced. Foreign leaders were blamed for US domestic woes when the problem obviously springs from institutionalized greed and corruption. This can be corrected with a national economics policy that benefits all of the people — or the US can sink deeper into its dystopia.

There's not much wiggle room going forward.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." ---- William Casey, CIA Director, 1981

Lots of good ideas - let's hear it for intrinsic value (including *skills*).

I got some buckwheat seeds the other day and am about to make a first attempt
at growing some - whole cycle takes only a couple months (if growing to maturity for seed) or even less if you intend to plow it under for green manure. Lot of farmland just being abandoned in Japan even though they are heavily dependent on food imports. Upside is that it's easy in many areas to get land to use simply for doing enough maintenance to keep it from becoming overgrown, which is basically what I'm doing.

While the OP is correct that the dollar's reserve currency status is doomed, I'm not at all sure this is simply due to mistakes and overreach. I find the arguments that what we are looking at is an engineered collapse not only of the dollar, but of the vulnerable, globalized food and energy systems on which society is dependent to be plausible at minimum. Alex Jones and other 'wackos' have warned for years that this was in the cards - now it looks like the cards are starting to be laid down.

Of course about the biggest advantage someone planning a sneak attack can have is that the intended victim be unaware of it or disbelieving in its possibility altogether. Actually, the WEF and such are fairly open about the society they want to create (and control) but as long as people are mostly unwilling to even consider the possibility of evil on such a grand scale as a realistic possibility the attackers can move forward with their agenda.

Collapsing the existing system, instilling widespread panic and having a ready-made 'solution' in place that ensures elite preservation and control of everyone and everything else seems to be the trajectory.

It is harder, though, for them to deal with those that are prepared for collapse and difficult to panic and stampede people who understand what's going on...

Posted this before in another thread, but it bears repeating:

In December of 2021, a man with a background in high level operations in the intelligence field was contacted by a trusted friend; this man shall be known as Gideon, and his friend shall not be named.

The friend communicated to Gideon that they were in contact with IT professionals contracted by the governments of certain European nations to conduct "stress tests" on a new type of software being developed.

These IT professionals are also known as "white hat hackers." They had told Gideon's friend they were upset about what they were working on, and wanted to blow the whistle on it.

These IT professionals had all signed contracts and already had high level clearances. For them to break their silence and break their agreements could, in fact, cost them their lives.

From this point forward, Gideon, his friend and the IT professionals carefully coordinated on how to release this information. They took steps to ensure all communication between all parties was encrypted. They took steps and planned on how to release the information most effectively, through third parties they could trust.

The information at hand was of grave concern for various reasons. It appeared to be software that would be used after a "reset" or complete overhaul of the worldwide financial system. It also contained extensive modules relating to social credit scoring and management of the population.

The software itself is called CSRQ-SM. C stands for Common Class, S stands for Sovereign Class, R stands for Restricted Class and Q stands for Quarantined Class. The SM stands for Social Management.

The software is a back-end web-based suite that will be used to manage Billions of people and their social credit profiles. It will also interface with the world's banks, and integrate a new digital currency, likely to be called the USDR.

The software is, in short, the operational software that will be used for the so-called Financial Reset. It combines two purposes, social credit and banking management.

The IT professionals communicated that the class system in place was disturbing to them. It showed that Billions of people would be classed as Class C, or Common, and receive extreme limitations on property and asset ownership. It showed they would be carefully monitored based on social behaviour, and fined and punished for misbehaviour.

The other classes were even more disturbing. Both Class R, or Restricted, and Class Q, Quarantined, were extremely restrictive in what they allowed. Anyone with these classifications would not be able to own between more than $250 to $500 in USDR at any time, or virtually any type of private property. Their free speech and movement was also severely restricted.

The Common, Restricted and Quarantined classifications also require Covid vaccinations to receive any kind of capital at all, including monthly stipend deposits. Fines and demerits are in place if vaccine booster shot schedules are not adhered to. Enforcement also appears to involve physical detainment.

The S Class, or Sovereign, is a limited classification that appears to only apply to a very small percentage of the world's population, far less than 1%. It offers unlimited funds, no restrictions on asset holdings or private property, freedom of movement, no sections for fines or limitations at all, no requirement at all for vaccination. Hence, the term "Sovereign" is used, which means "one possessing or held to possess supreme political power" among other definitions, which we recommend you review here, as these definitions are extremely important.

It was quickly apparent to the IT professionals who were hired to work on this software that it would be used worldwide and would apply to every person on Earth. The software contained Millions, in fact, Billions of human profiles of individuals.

The IT professionals explored the system, and managed to find themselves (they were classed as S, or Sovereign, to their relief), their friends, family (nearly all classed as C or Common) and various politicians and celebrities as well (virtually all of whom were classed S or Sovereign). Political dissidents and those they suspected may be troublesome to the system were also searched, and it was discovered many of them were classed as R or Restricted or Q or Quarantined. This included Millions of Trump voters.

The IT professionals also noticed a constant flow of capital into the Sovereign Class accounts. It appeared various assets were slowly being converted into the new currency, the USDR. What was alarming was the ratio of conversion was extremely high and favourable. If, for example, a bank wire of Euros was sent into the system for $10,000, it was converted into $430,000 in USDR.

They also noted a lot of "activity" relating to the S Class accounts, suggesting certain select individuals already had access to the software, or at least a third party, such as an asset manager, was using it to transfer funds and wealth into the new currency. The other account classifications had no activity at all...

Interview with Gideon
Gideon: “It’s a software suite that will transition all financial transactions from the current SWIFT banking system into a new blockchain-based system. This is expected to take place over a 3 to 5 day period in the future when it comes online. It will also bring with it a very robust social credit and tracking system.

effort to 'exempt' itself from the promised wonders of globalization - retaining their sovereignty, cultural values and control of their economy.

Fortunately, they are doing pretty well in that regard and hopefully won't be subject to the system described (or a homegrown version of the same thing).

It's an interesting SciFi/Horror story.

Have you noticed that most people seem to have a remarkable willingness to accept as normal a reality worse than what was, a few decades back, considered dystopian?

Is it reasonable to believe that those who would have elite 'Sovereign' status under the CSRQ-SM system (or something like it) would *not* impose something like that if they could?

Welcome to Bill’s Intel Drops

Intel Drop #9 – The Level 4 Attacks Have Begun

August 2, 2022

Good evening everyone. It’s been a wild 24 hours, so let me get you up to speed on what’s going on before we get to my conversations with Gideon.

Level 4 escalation against us has been authorized because word is getting out about CSRQ-SM. The cabal’s cover has been blown.

We are now officially under full attack by agents, and they’re planning to completely destroy us. If that fails, they will go to Level 5 escalation, which is full erasure and termination.
...
What follows are comms between Gideon and I over the past couple of days. Thank you to Michael for editing this.

Bill: Every day I’m seeing things that confirm CSRQ is real. Story after story, I can’t keep up. Whether it’s Digital IDs, CBDCs, changes in the banking system, getting rid of cash, social tracking, it’s all coming together.

Gideon: “That’s because this is all real. We’ve given people the truth, Bill. We’ve shown them CSRQ. They can either take that and put that into their framework of understanding, or ignore it at their own peril.”

Bill: A lot has happened in just the past day alone. Do you have any intel you can share on where we’re at in terms of the time frame to implement CSRQ?

Gideon: “All signs point to a war, but right now I give it a low probability. This is a part of their scenario game planning. They have four or five different combinations of how to implement CSRQ. One of them is a war between the predictable players, China and Russia against the U.S. In that scenario, Chinese troops end up on American soil by November.”

Bill: That’s scary as hell. But you’ve told me it’s all staged, there’s no real antagonism there?

Gideon: “There is on some level, among the CCP lower ranks, but at the highest level, they all work with the WEF and the cabal. The top ranks of the U.S. military and Biden Administration are traitors who are in on the scheme.”

Bill: So they’ll fight a war and pretend it’s real?

Gideon: “It will be real but orchestrated. I don’t expect full scale war, I expect a slow, drawn out series of incursions. But what I do know is, the Chinese are supposed to land on American soil at some point."
...

It's quite an elaborate story....

and seemingly far out extreme...

I don't see that such a system is at variance with what elites want or would implement if they could.

And don't see evidence that it is *not* happening.

As for "Chinese troops landing on American soil", Guam and the Northern Marianas are 'American soil' and would certainly be attacked in any hot war over Taiwan.
