Alrghty now class, It's Jerry Day, for Jerome John "Jerry" Garcia (August 1, 1942 – August 9, 1995), one of those who truly was a legend in his own time. A talented multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter who was comfortable in a great many genres. Merl Saunders (IIRC) said that it was amazing how, when confronted with any piece in any style, he always knew just what to play.
He will be celebrated on the Official (he would've loved that) Jerry Day celebration at some other time and place and perhaps here too (who knows), but this is the real mcCoy.

The small town where I have a house did celebrate Jerry Garcia’s birthday this weekend with live music and food in venue called Shakedown street 78643. Good time was had by all.

Gaddaffi"s Libya was the most prosperous country in Asia and he helped keep terrorists at bay. But once he was brutally murdered the terrorists have expanded to many other countries and of course we have been helping them with arms and training.
