Game on!

Sanders has apparently had enough and has decided to state the unvarnished truth: Hillary Clinton is in the pockets of the special interests, helped get us into a senseless and illegal war, and is therefor unqualified to be President of the United States. My thoughts exactly. A more specific case can be made against Clinton and I'm sure Sanders will be making it soon.
The media is surprised but they are an easily fooled lot. I'm sure they're all trying to figure out the appropriate spin (Sander is nuts---but they've always believed that). There is no turning back at this point but people who want half measures, if that, are in the Clinton camp.

So succinct
And righteously aggrieved.

Much obliged
I couldn't find a short clip.
Happy to help
This is yet another huge gaffe. How is Sanders not qualified? By only being in Congress for most of the last 25 years? What does that imply about what she thinks of that dern upstart Obama?
What does it take to be qualified, according to HRC? The narcissism, it burns.
Stay on track. Stay in lane. Don't throw rocks.
I think her actual words have been--
many times--that he is not really a Democrat. The insinuation is that he is not qualified. I am still looking to see if she actually said the words or if her response to a question implied it.
It may be time to bring up the Goldwater Girl stuff. Flood Twitterdom with it. How many times has she sided with R policies, etc.
On the bright side, the media mentioned him today. = )

Some countries actually have more than two parties
Bunch of Communists, likely.
Stay on track. Stay in lane. Don't throw rocks.
Yeah, go figure...
they have more than two parties, health care, college, child care, higher wages, etc. Was it George Washington who said that the two party system would be the death of democracy?

What is a Democrat, anyway?
The Democrats have a long and inconsistent history, as do the Republicans. This party stuff is fluid and runs into sumps over time. Once they start considering themselves to be sacred, they stagnate.

Well, considering that
100 or so years ago, it was the Democrats, the Southern aristocracy, who succeeded from the Union and before that are the ones who fought for that whole militia thing, it would seem they are just trying to get back to their roots (so to speak).

That was kind of my drift
Who are these people, anyway?

Yeah well...
Yeah, well, neither is she. Pot, kettle, etc.
This shit is bananas.

nope
she didn't say the actual words, she is to accomplished a lawyer for that. She instead lets her media minions say it while she pretends they are attacking her to
You are not prepared-Illidan
I'm finally getting the campaign I helped pay for
I want Clinton so damaged she couldn't win a church cake raffle. I hope he starts talking about her carpetbagging into NY for the Senate seat. Start pointing out that she accomplished nothing while there - it was only a resume builder for her. He should start talking about the obscene privilege of paying 3 million bucks for a daughter's wedding.
If you don't know what you want, you deserve what you get.
He needs to stick to her record.
No personal stuff. Her record says it all, so there is no need to go after her in ways that could be actual, real negative campaigning. Those with integrity and half a brain know the difference (which leaves out a whole lot of people, including the media).

He could do that in his sleep
His timing is impeccable. I'm enjoying watching a master politician who has been standing up for the same things for twenty-odd years.
His time has come, he chose the moment. He's a professional and he makes a lot of these other people look childish.
Stay on track. Stay in lane. Don't throw rocks.
True. She gives him sooooooo
much ammunition to work with that he probably could very well do it in his sleep. It has been one whole heck of a lot longer than 20 years that his message has not changed...closer to 50+.

I was just looking at his Congressional career
But I can't imagine him holding different views earlier on. I will bow to your more detailed information

Ah, okay...
Mayor 8 years
House 16 years
Senate 9 years
But actually, I was thinking along the lines of when he was in his early 20s and doing civil rights work which is in keeping with his policies today.

"Grudge Match"
"Sanders' blunt assessment at a raucous rally here came at the end of a day of testy exchanges between the two White House contenders in a race that Sanders has prolonged by continuing to win nominating contests, despite Clinton's formidable lead in the delegate count."
Well, the nerve of him.

You know what might be interesting--
have to check with some New Yorkers on this--is if he is going all forceful on her because people in New York like that personality trait. If she is on the defensive (and whining) and him on the offensive wouldn't that give him a leg up with those people who like "tough"? Just a thought.

Oh, he knows exactly what he's doing
Stay on track. Stay in lane. Don't throw rocks.
He saved it for now
And really it's relatively mild, but it looks harsh by contrast to what he's been doing. So if you take it out of context, it's hard to work it against him, because this is all kind of old hat; war war war, funding funding wealthy people. It's all stock footage, but it's a sudden change and that will get people's attention.
Stay on track. Stay in lane. Don't throw rocks.
And that it has...
If you Google *clinton says sanders not qualified,* you will see that all of the media have just realized that there is another candidate. LOL
He has also now tossed in the Panama Papers. = )

I have lived in NY for 40 years (but Upstate)
and I have no real sense whether the carpetbagger label will stick. I've never wandered around asking others. But I certainly recognized that then. Historically, that move was timed very nicely, a trailing spouse got to turn the tables on her former President husband and get a very cushy first political nod "on her own". Lol.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Bernie not a democrat and neither am I!
At least not a turd way corporate democrat! I thought I was a democrat for the last 40-50 years. I was politically educated by FDR New Dealers and civil rights activists. And suddenly the head of the DNC is supporting pay day lenders, for profit prisons, and corporate interests. The democrats under Clintons leadership sold out to the banks and corporations and turned the party into republican lite. Obama offered hope and change, but was bought out too. Now he endorses DWS. So sad.
So I'm not a democrat either, at least in the current state of the party. Paraphrasing Bob Reich's line - Hillary is the best candidate in the current political system. Bernie is the best candidate for the political system that should exist. I think the party emerges very weak if Hillary is the nominee.
I'm hopeful we will win and change this damn crazy system.
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Democrat?
not my party anymore.
Hillary DID question him

“He’s a relatively new Democrat, and, in fact, I’m not even sure he is one. He’s running as one. So I don’t know quite how to characterize him.”
Sounds like her assessment of Obama's religious beliefs in 2008.
Bernie is raising the bar
Bernie is raising the bar on presidential qualifications. Now we need a President who is on the side of the 99 Percent. That narrows the field IMHO.
