evening qms...
heh, i have always enjoyed a good train blues song. there are some great ones. maybe someday a theme ...
have a good one!
My grandpa got me hooked on trains
He worked on trains at the Air Force base and He had lots of albums of train whistles and the clickety clack they make as they roll down the rails. Never a time that I don’t roll down the window in my car and listen as one goes by. I hear their whistles nightly and can hear them hooking up from my bedroom.
Grandpa also introduced me to baseball. We used to have the Ogden A's farm team and he took me to watch the games. Very few people attended the games and then the stadium was torn down and they put up a parking lot for cars.
FUN memories!

evening snoopy...
i always enjoyed the rhythms that trains made on the rails, i still find myself drumming along on the dashboard when i wait at a crossing.
have a good one!
My best train ride was in Mexico.
I did a high speed train in Europe, and the chunnel between England and France, but the fave is that one in Mexico.

Mine was from Ogden to Butte Montana
In reading gone with the wind I was reminded of when we had a great train system here in America. I guess the East coast still does, but outside Amtrak we just got a train system here between salt lake about a decade ago or so. The oil and tire industrial complex killed so much mass transportation. A train system like Chinas only exists in people’s minds.
Darnit I have a thought I was going to post but I’ve forgot it…anyone know what I meant to say? Hopefully it will come to me.
