Your birds look quite right in white.
Getting ready for a blizzard here the next couple days.
Calling for a couple feet of snow and 60 mph winds.
It's going to be all white cause we have food, heat and
white russians. Just hope the generators cooperate.
@QMS
A great pal who recently passed on, used to bring his wife and sister on our various trips around the world. He started a tradition: Our first evening after arrival was to have a white Russian, or 4, to toast to a great vacation. It got to be an incredible cultural experience. The bar tenders and wait staff would always call in the boss, and the boss would explain why their country's recipe was different from everywhere else.
Anyway,I do not have a readily available photo of the birds my friend and I took. I hope he left this world "seeing" the gorgeous white birds of Portugal.

Many of your photos reminisce the past of Europe, your original home, and stand resolutely as reminders. In general the image makes me think more about the value of what to contextualise from the past in terms of creating our future. It's such a private and intimate endeavour to make sense of.
Howdy all! GREAT white birds SP! Beautiful photos! Oustanding pics!

Cattle Egret - which of course is hunting things on the ground right in front of itself, as indicated by eye position. This is the last thing a lot of grasshoppers saw.
Great Egret
There is a group of butterflies called Whites, which are you guessed it, mostly white. Even the distal part of the abdomen is white on many, not just the wings. This is a Florida White, but the Tropical mainland (i.e. Mexico) subspecies, here in Texas, not the Florida subspecies. These are satiny white and pretty impressively so.
The Checkered White (formerly Common White) is common throughout the U.S.
Be well all!

Nice birds and butterflies. The only time I've seen a Cattle Egret was years ago in Maui. That sucker was a gecko eating machine.
Here are some white thingies...

Here's something white, in sympathy to those on the east coast right now. Once in a while, it snows a LOT in the PacNW. It melts pretty darn fast, but it does snow a lot. This was one of those times, just before xmas in 2008. The temp reached 10 F at the farm! Nuts! Here's the herb garden, the area beyond the garden where the garlic was growing and the goats would eat the pasture, the sun, and almost 18 inches of snow. It was gone in a day or two.

Thanks for the snowscape. That's about as close to snow as I like to get.
