A couple of converging items this week:
- New longer and wider studies out of the UK and Sweden which show some promise for better data.

- Questions about mandates keep getting more difficult to answer. Is there a possibility they will wane, sink without a ripple, have accomplished whatever nefarious goals were intended?

Welp, I had an OT last night, but I don't see it in drafts or on the Community Content.

I'll have to assume it is in the ether. I will retry, and post for later.

Sorry every one.

We had a Fall Back which we didn't notice, so we are eight hours ahead for the time until the US Falls back then we'll be the regular nine hour gap to the West coast and six hours to Eastern.

@Dawn's Meta We've had a time change, and JtC suggested I publish a little later in the day than I have been. So altogether, scheduling wasn't a smooth operation.

Please use QMS unless there's something that just won't fit anywhere else.

My OT is scheduled for the top of the next hour.

Correction:

We've had a time change, and JtC suggested I publish a little later in the day than I have been.

The suggestion was to schedule your OTs an hour earlier than what you were scheduling before. They were posting a little late so an hour earlier would be better. Sorry about any confusion.

An investigation by the BMJ has reported that a company called Ventavia, tasked with running a trial site for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine study, “falsified data, unblinded patients, employed inadequately trained vaccinators, and was slow to follow up on adverse events”.

“If you are interested in analysing the data for Pfizer’s trial, you will have to wait until May 2025 before you can even request it from the company,” says Prof Doshi.

“The point I am trying to make is very simple,” said Prof Doshi. “The data from Covid vaccines are not available and won’t be available for years. Yet, we are not just ‘asking’ but ‘mandating’ millions of people to take these vaccines.”
